Reviews for "The Last Fight: Final Ep"

Not too bad

I have seen a lot of flashes like this on Newgrounds, but this is still quite fun to watch. I enjoyed looking at the action as it is in fact well animated, if not the most original thing. It reminded me of "Red Moon" with how everything was red, or a shade of red. This is a pretty subtley made cartoon as it does not have too many fancy things about it. The music is nice and it does have most of what you could ask from an action cartoon. I am glad to be introduced to your style, which is new for me.

Mediocre.

I hate to say, I really do but it was far too short and the animations where tacked on and sketchy too. The only I can think of that would really like this would be the people who saw and loved the first one.

due regards,

I didn't like it personally but...

Although I may not have liked it, I can see the effort put into it and even though it doesn't seem like it the animating was actually very good, just not my cup of tea, there were parts where there was an obvious loop but at some points it was just so slow and smooth that it blew my mind, so because of the very well done animation you get an 8.

Good!

You have a really nice style. Your art is excellent which I think is the best starting point to good animation. You've really perfected the art of capturing emotion, especially through slow motion. My one criticism would be that some of the shots (particularly at the start) lasted too long. I know you probably wanted to keep with the music but you need to think about editing in creating excitement. Generally speaking, the more action is occurring, the faster the editing bewtween shots. Even in movies where they use slow motion they will only use a littl bit because are at risk of loosing the attention of their audience if they show something in too much detail for too long. But Like I say it was awesome. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next =D

Requires polish

My gripe is mainly in the lack of consistence between the scenes. His sword appears on his right hip, but in the next scene he draws from the left. He does a thrusting motion with the sword for the finishing exchange, but in the next scene he does a horizontal cut. Blood drawn on one side of the face appears on the other and such.

These are little things, but they add up and diminish their impact since they are inconsistent. Keep your eyes on the whole and not just the scene-by-scene choreography, as the rest is well delivered
