Reviews for "Haven't Got A Prayer, pt2"

Yes... it is...

It is offensive for catholic people, and I found it mildly funny, but I really liked it... The fact that Jesus came back to Earth and found that the beliefs of people were completely disoriented, like the guy that thought anal sex was ok between man and woman LMAO! ANAL SEX IS OK but not very Catholic lol. At first I thought rating you badly for offensive (even though you are warning it) but when I come to think about it you did pretty good! 4/5 10/10

P.S. Make the next episode about polytheists LOL... Or just make fun of the Hindu!

Slackman responds:

Well I appreciate that you didn't bash me for being... shall we say... "controversial"? I'm glad you liked it. Polytheism is for another time however. The next episode is about Jehova's Witnesses. I'll keep it in mind if I make any further shorts after this.

tommy reference

I loved the Tommy reference at the end. It was great except the voices are annoying and of poor quality, so that's why I gave it an 8.

Slackman responds:

Alright! Someone caught the Tommy reference. I was wondering if anyone would. Sorry about the voices. I guess I need a new microphone or something.

makes you think

Brilliant parody and so true, what would Jesus think if he was here today?

People who think this video is against Christianity, your partly right but this is a flash video and in this case supposed to make fun of serious things. People who rates 0's and say "story was terrible" or "go to hell", even those that gives 3's or close "because the animation was good at least" are the ones who is hate full and should ask themselves what the bible really says and what the ORIGINAL VERSION SAYS IN THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE

Slackman responds:

Thanks for the support! I agree with you buddy.

Ha!

Some of the reviews below yet again show me the stupidity of the people on here. I give it a 10/10 simply for the principal of the matter. It just seems that people can't understand things like this.

Slackman responds:

You're telling me. It's good to see that some people are getting it.

What is this?

I gave it a three because of animation, that's it. As far a the story ago it's terrible. Have you even talked to areal christian? Or have you just watch religulous and now think you are the authority on criticizing religions? Have you read the bible? Do you even know what Jesus Christ stood for humanity? I bet you don't, and I bet you also are one of the thousands of narrow-minded people who think everyone that carries a bible is Chrisitan, well that's not true. Maybe next time before you criticize the idea of God and religion, an idea that that's been around longer then arrogant humans crawled out of a cave, you should do your research.

I wish people would stop hate bashing Christianity.

Slackman responds:

I'll have you know that this was cowritten by a Christian. While I have seen Religulous, I didn't exactly think it was the authority on religion, rather that it had some interesting notes but it took some really obvious pot shots. I know what Jesus originally stood for, but I feel that his beliefs have been twisted to fit those of ultra-conservative hate-mongers and then enforced on innocent people.

I never said that everyone who carries a bible is Christian, and I'm not quite sure where you got that from. I don't consider this cartoon to be commentary on the bible, but rather the people who use the bible for their own means. I'm not criticizing the idea of God, but rather the human element that claims to speak for God. I don't know what that has to do with researching, especially because this has nothing to do with the origins of religion.

Call it bashing if you want. I call it satirizing. Unfortunately though, I'm not in the mood for a theological dissertation right now. I'm sorry you didn't like it.
