Your power meter glitches constantly, it makes power plants next to useless. Other than that, great game.

There never really is a choice between what to build. You need it all just to barely survive, but will be overrun about level 15. Makes a very frustrating game which at least should have an easy-level.
Besides that it all looks great.

I like the combination of defense/civilization typegame.
Unfortunately I can only give you a 7, as there seems to be some bug issues.
I get "not enough cash" when trying to place a building, when I know I have the cash. This happened when I tried to build my first hospital @ $250 and I had $500 in the bank.
After getting blown up by the aliens and clicking on the "Play again" option, I was unable to place my city. It stayed red no matter where I moved on the map and after I clicked on a random spot on the planet my city disappeared, I had no way to restart the game after that.
Maybe having some upgrades for the various buildings to increase their efficiency, power plants producing more power, farms more food, etc. Could also have upgrades on the turrets but the upgrades wouldn't do the same thing. For instance, the laser tower would upgrade to do more damage while the missile tower would upgrade to use less energy when firing.
Otherwise, a really good game. I hope you can find time enough to polish this little gem for us unwashed masses.

Thanks for the review - I'll look into those bugs....as far as the upgrades - good idea , it's actually implemented when you buy a research lab. This allows you to make farms more productive, double firing rate and so on.
