good game but way too hard
as the title of the review sais, its good but way to hard and has a few game breaking bugs.
bug 1: after losing and restarting it sometimes wont let you place a new starting city. makes it so you have to exit and sit through the artifically long load screen.
bug2: after loosing and restarting the price for the teraformer does not reset to 1000, but the 2nd upgrade on are the right price.
bug 3: power plants only cost 500 but the menu to buy them sais that it goes up with each new one you buy.
and for ppl whining about getting to lvl 50+ and not winning: if you read the intro it says that the point of the game is to teraform and get a population of 3500, not survive x waves.

i liked it, but it got reaaally boring. and everything was just expensive.
game freezes and you die around level 52
in the beginning dont bother with upgrading anything just get one each hospital, farm and workshop. ignore all weapons except double and triple laser and obliterator. then later you can add emp and freeze. best bet is to start with two mines, two power plants and 2 double lasers. then you wait for money to get the obliteratior (get 4 of them as soon as possible) which will carry you through many levels. and get research and improve mines and lasers, then get triple lasers and more mines to boost cash. you also need to keep adding powerplants to support the lasers so dont buy more lasers than needed. after a few tries on noob level, you can figure out the strategy but, no matter what you cant get past level 52. i was loaded up with everything, plenty of cash and you cant do anything when they start coming in from all sides. you just sit there ard wait until the game ends. .
Excellent game, but...
It was very fun. The learning curve was quite steep. The key is to upgrade the city until it get's past 5000HP because one wave has green ships that do 41xx damage. Get at least 4 mines with the initial $5000. Always take the purple terraform from the start and upgrade that once. Start with one double laser, then add more as needed (along with power plants). Research lab comes later.
Sweet game, but destroys the CPU once enemies come in from all 4 sides. I, like many others, would have been able to get past the waves if it was not for my computer freezing. Perhaps have fewer enemies with higher HPs instead of more units.
