Good showmanship, bad gameplay.
When you start it, this game looks fantastic. It's like you spent so much time on the menus and the videos, that the gameplay was shoved down to the bottom of the list. And how could you only manage 11 frames per second? Really? I've managed to program 3d applications with 2,000 units handling ai, and got it to run at 15 fps! I don't even understand what you could be doing to use that much computer time. Even comparing every unit's location to every other units location and building, twice every frame, would probably run at least twice as fast as it does now. Theres alot of easy optimization that could be done.
Besides that, the missions are all fun, except for the ones that you have to strategically control units. You can't do that when your just using "AI". If you tell your unit to attack theres still a delay.
The videos look awesome, but they don't relate to the games at all. Pretty much none of the units in the video are actually in-game. The video mus have taken weeks of work, but i could make something like the actual gameplay in days.
It has potential though...
