Reviews for "The Necronomicon 2.0"

bad game

I dont like the graphics and the sound. sorry.

gameplay is nothing new. I mean, you could focus on graphics and sound, but didnt.

Good but...

The art and control are all very good. The only thing keeping it from a 10 is that when an opponent plays a card, it disappears before you can really read what it is. You get the effects of it, but don't know what caused them.

Plowking74 responds:

Cheers, glad you like the game. I found that when I actually had the opp cards up long enough, the number one complaint was that the game became too slow and annoyed tons of people. I agree about the speed, but when you get familar with the cards it's no longer a problem. But if it was slowed down, it'd always be a problem.

Very Well Done

I must say, im very pleased to see that Cthulhu Myth isnĀ“t dead in people mind.

The game was addictive at a certain grade that you make the moves without thinking to much. Its easy to learn, and have nice image and sound.

I have a suggest for the Challenge Mode: Make it progressive, and every 3 or 4 challenges complete, we get a new card.

Also you can add a Deck Edit Mode, but i think that would be to complex.

10/10

Great!

When I played the last versions, I knew it was missing something, but the addition of the 'Challenge' menu is precisely what it lacked!

Once again, I say it has limitless potential!

(Also, I'm glad no one is so hooked up on the artwork, now that they've gotten used to it. Reading reviews, I'm supprised so few of them realised it must have been for copywright reasons, or else you wouldn't have done it with suck negative reviews about it.

Besides, I like the current artwork; it's by the fans of Lovecrafts' work and so it's a labour of love and that makes it all the more charming)

Plowking74 responds:

Yes, thank you - I too feel that with the addition of the art by Lovecraft fans (and some who didn't even know anything about Lovecraft), the game has added something extra to the rather sparse Lovecraft related games out there. Plus it's great to see that people will gladly contribute their own work to see it active in something like this.

It's worked out better in the end. :)

Nice

Nice Images and graphics. The game is also good.
