Good stuff, but needs work

Ive played both this and the previous version, I must admit they are awesome BUT, I personally would like you to make a few changes:

1. Would be great if you create or improve the campaign mode's difficulty settings. By this I mean sometimes the cards I get are constantly cheap while my enemy get the high healing, damaging and invulnerability cards and I get stuck with "Give one Taint" or "Get 4 health back" over and over. I know you might of heard this a lot, but PLEASE, if its gonna be an unfair fight, make it late game! That would be more logical.

2. I would like some form of a deck builder like others mentioned... could be basic even, like each round you have a choice to instantly get a particular card or so. Knowing the game's difficulty however I i'm sure the computer will just get something better.

3. Game atmosphere feels repetitive... a change of music every few turns or so can fix that up for me.

Great idea. Kinda on the vein of other card games but much simpler and only a few things to keep an eye on.

Super problem though. when playing the card that "makes the opponent discard a card, and gives you an extra turn" you don't get an extra turn... Huge, Gaping hole in the program there.

For any Cthulu nerd, sumply pretty.
I agree with WitchWing, there needs to be a deck builder of some kind. Possibly an unlockable feature after a certain amount of challenges are met. Also, some other unlockable features are needed so that doing the challenges is interesting. Possibly a card builder, or boss like opponents.

Excellent

First off, creating a working card game is hard as hell (I've tried) so kudos to you. Secondly, this game is good. I mean, GOOD. The reworked taint system, making EVERY monster useful somehow, fixing some overpowered cards (*cough*dispel*cough*) and the new and improved autosave system were all needed upgrades and I thank you for making it happen. My only two complaints are these:
1. No deck builder. I know we're all supposed to have the same cards to make it an even fight, but come on. Some cards (like Betrayal or Curse of Cthulu) are damn near useless and I'd love to remove them to increase the odds of getting something I'll actually use.
2. The enemy always--and I mean ALWAYS--seems to get the exact card that I need while I'm left getting copies of cards that I will never use and discarding them holds no benefit.
Otherwise, this is a great game that has become my new favorite on NG. I've beaten it but keep coming back for more. Great work!

WTF

In almost EVERY CHALLENGE PAST 8, you have to do something that requires JUST luck. Almost no skill, just luck!
However: it's addicting as hell, very beautiful, and could be better.
