A good game
Great ship game but u could upgrage characters because the playable little guy in the town area only wears english red coat.

The first I noticed when i started the game was that is was SO like sid meier's pirates. Do you have tried to make it look like it?

this is good, but the battles are tough if the other ships arnt around you...
the allegience system could also be better, mabey a bar to show how friendly you are with the other nations or somthing like that

yeah, i played the original with the "Arrs" and what not. this game is a great transition from PC to flash. i think it was really creatively done and in fact would love to see some of these aspects in the PC version itself. especially the town roaming bit. very entertaining ^^.

as others have said, more ways to make money are needed. regardless of the fact of starting with a better ship or no money it is very difficult to progress because the majority of the ships that one faces are immense. regardless of tactics it is very hard to start off. using grapeshot to try to board is difficult at best against the bigger heavy ships, and the smaller ships are uncommon to fight against and yield very little gold for ones own survival. if trade was a part of the game that would change it immensly and how the game is commensed. i live the concept however and would love to see the game evolve as it has so much potential to expand into a marvalous game!
