First time posting

Hey guys, iv been lurking around for quite some time and have finally gotten the spirit to contribute something to the art forum
I spend about 2-3 days ( practically the weekend ) sketching this picture and yeah i know a line page isn't the best place but thats where it took place
Sketched using a H, HB and B2 pencils and inked with a 0.3mm and 0.5 fine liner, Resized using Gimp2
Hope the quality isn't too bad on the resize

Nice work. I like it all, from shoes (or that "stuff" he's wearing) to the head. The pencil color is brown? That's what it looks like, anyway, sketch it good, but if you mind, you could erase some extra pencil you have here and there.

I felt that if i removed too much of the pencil it might lose some of the characteristics and the pencil is the usual grayish type :)

Sorry for the triple post people, thought I'd post some earlier artwork of a demon
It was done pretty much the same way as the starter picture yet i decided to fill the color with a hb pencil
I hate the fact that resizing the image from 826x1169 to 494x700 really makes the skin texture and detail disappear, but rules are rules

The demon looks awesome, as does the big guy :] Real shame it was on lined paper, but as you said, it's done now.

You should try some action shots, if they're going to be as good as these two, they'll be amazing!

Hmm somebody mentioned a action scene, well i have a older drawing of another barbarian-like character that i might post later but until then i will try to draw some kind of action scene lol

Its a older drawing i made earlier this year, i was experimenting with angles and tried my hand at a from-above view
I know the front arm is way too long and the hair seems like seaweed, but like i said this was a experiment so i have no intentions of fixing it, sorry

Dude, your art rocks. Have you tried coloring your pictures? By the way, you could crop out all the white space so you wouldn't have to downsize your characters so much.

Thanx, Yeah i tried coloring a lot before and take my word for it, i suck at it, i tried coloring my drawings a few times to give it more body and quality but Meh, I'm not any good at it
I discovered the cropping tool in Gimp2 with the last image lol I'm still a noob with gimp

Hey people, Been working on this sketch since i posted the last one but progress has been going very slow because of the sheer amount of overtime i had to pull in this week at work
This is the first stage of a Necromancer sketch i am doing, the end result will hopefully be worth the wait. Its still a long way from done and i hope to be able to finish it this weekend. The pencil work might be a bit light to recognize the full drawing but I'm gonna take a chance and upload it.
Any suggestions and comments welcome

Just got back from work and i was hoping to find some "constructive" comments, like suggestions i should take and such.
Just asking before i spend more time on this drawing, don't want to do that and find that it has a stale concept or has a massive flaw in it.

Wow thanx for all the comments, always fantastic to know people approve of it.
I will try adding more but my jobs got me tied up for now, currently drawing a robot for Giggans's art thread, so check out the latest there.
Btw, i have never tried comics before.
