It's a shame I couldn't reply to this topic earlier, but I will extend my congratulations to the 4 new mods now. I've had the priviledge of conversing with both Ted_Easton, and Newgrundling, and I'm confident that both will prove very worthy mods. I can't say that I know much about the other two, but I'm sure they'll do just as well.

That covered, I'm becoming increasingly annoyed with people claiming that mods abuse their power. I've never been banned in my time here. It is true that I don't have too many posts, but even if the number were multiplied several times, I still couldn't see it happening. The rules are very straightforward, and for the most part, easy to follow. All the rules basically do is encourage you not to be a jackass. Is it really that hard? All the mods do is follow the rules, and enforce discipline where necessary. Of course, there is the odd exception, but for the most part, that is not the case.

Everytime I see a post by Newgrundling it's something helping someone else and I've never seen him make fun of noobs and lots of other stuff that I'm too lazy to list.

All the increased number of mods means is that we can now have more people to help the regular users, keep out spam, and decrease the stupidity that is posted here.

i always do, i just like to watch people have fun, and the stupidity thats posted here tends to bring these people closer and makes friendships that im sure will last a long time. i dont understand some of the things that get deleted or locked, they seem pretty harmless to me, and they really dont take up a lot of space.

BONUS! More mods means less work for each individual mod, and I can't be against that! Of course I know Newgrundling, I'm somewhat familiar with Ted_Easton and el_foka, TheShrike I can't recall too well but I don't doubt the choice.

i think maybe its cuz i wasnt around when the last bunch of mods came on, so i didnt see the egos, but every mod as of yesterday seemed so cool, and just acted the same way that they did before they became mods. they still laughed at people, and disagreed with people and let people push buttons, and just made sure things werent crazy out of hand. thats my opinion, ban me if you want, but last time i checked forums were for sharing opinions and thoughts. so now you have mine.

I'm still the same guy I was yesterday, and if people want to complain about me, then I have every right to ban. I guess it sucks if you're not a Mod, but what are you gonna do?
