You see, some people in this thread seemed to think that their recommendation for NGling or whomever else would sway Wade. In the past, Tanner has said that ONLY recommendations from other mods actually mean anything when deciding upon new mods, and I was relaying that information to you, who asked the freakin' question.

Hmmm, maybe because have four have been model users, are generally nice to other users, make intelligent and coherent posts, and know the rules of the bbs? I'm sure there are other, more "popular" users that break the rules all the time and flame the n00bs to hell.

I'm usually in the Politics BBS, as it's more my forte, and I don't plan on banning people just because I'm a new mod.
I hope to do exactly what's expected of me, so I'm off to wade through the myriad posts of the general forum.

To everyone who does not know me, I spend most of my time posting in the Politics Forum. I do read the other forums from time to time, but I usually find myself lacking any reason to post.

Anyway, I don't plan on being a harsh dictator-mod, or trying to prove myself by banning people for the smallest offenses.

On the other hand, I know what the the job implies, and I won't just sit by and watch serious infractions of the NG rules happen.

As to what kind of Mod I will eventually become, that's up to the general public, so to speak.
