The video is fucked up, but the fact that the girl was pathetic enough to cry at it makes me laugh.
Even if her reaction was "You asshole" it still wouldn't be a good joke either. Not much to say, you failed. You do deserve a flame, you are getting it. Maybe you just pushed it too far. You also did not saw the WHOLE movie. You don't know what was at end of it, maybe something more than a couple of photos.

That certainly wasn't a sensible thing to do, but you like a good lad otherwise, and realise that it was wrong (in retrospect). For that reason I'll forgive you, but I don't know if she will. Phone her up, tell her that you are seriously very sorry. Tell her that if she returns your call, you can stay friends, but if she doesn't, well, you won't.
One idea that you may want to consider is a donation to her cause, if you really are serious.
When I read your post, and I'm being serious here, I did feel very upset on your behalf, even though I can't imagine what it could feel like to have offended someone in that way, despite only intending it as a joke.
