I wish there was something other to discuss in this thread rather than clicking here and seeing 'I like #'. What would you all like to see done with the panels once everything is sorted?

I think something silly like having them be used as place mats and coffee mats would be cool, but who would use them? I doubt they are that formal at the office. :)

I can't even begin to tell you how much I agree with what you have to say here... sorry Luis, not that I don't think your idea is cool or anything, but you know how things snowball sometimes.

Actually, the idea of a coaster came to mind a few times to me too. Ultimately though, I just sort of settled on the idea that they'd all be attached to the pages of a scrapbook, 9 x 9 or so. Lack of imagination on my part, I know it sounds pretty lame.

Actually, now that I think about it, it'd be pretty damn cool if they WERE made into coasters (glazed with some sort of acrylic) and used specifically throughout the Newgrounds office in Philly where they belong anyway.

Yeah, I'm going to go with that; Newgrounds office coasters for Tom and the gang.

Sorry gang, the voting is over after today so dont worry. Anyway I'm intruiged by the coasters idea. The only problem with last years was that its sort of lame that as a participant you arent able to take away something physical from the end product. I think alot of people lose sight of how awesome a project they were part of mainly cause they arent able to physically see what came out of it. I think the online version can only do so much.
Which is why this year I wanted to atleast have the option of being able to purchase some sort of book or whatever that you can put on your coffee table and be like yea i was part of that... its a good conversation piece. Atleast it was when i was at the comic con.

In other news, scanning them is MUCH easier this year, i can do 2 at a time and i was able to do like 30 in one sitting!!!

Why not just make some sort of image that has all of the pieces lined up like 10 X 10 (replace 10 with square root of the total number of panels haha, you get the idea) and make some cafepress thing and put the image on coasters, mugs, shirts whatever and people can choose whatever they would like.

No fee for you so that's always nice.
