Hi all, i have recently re-discovered wh40k and would like to participate in some convo with you 'homies'.

This gave me an idea that there should be a questions thread for each(or most) of the races where we could ask questions about that race.

Which can be created by people with the question in the relative race thread in my opinion.

Brillaint idea. This is why our websites thrive because we actually think of creative topics rathe rthen posting something pertaining to what you ate last Sunday but yes excellent topic like if ogryns have been an evolution stage away from the orks.

In all honesty, this thread is suffering from stagnation.

Actually, Ogryns are a heavily devolved strain of humans, as are the Squats and Ratlings. Involved factors are gravity, how poorly they've bred and local factors.

I was wondering what are the limits on what forms a C'Tan can take?
Also few people seem to know of this crew because they were bumping old warhammer threads.

BOO!
my computer crashed but its fixed now ^^
1) i pretty much dont appreciate any who playes a black templar army that has just been started as of this year. even tho they are my favorite space marine chapter. even tho i hate space marines
2) c'tan are gods who eats suns like potato chips

Response to Warhammer 40.000 Crew 2006-01-18 04:09:13

Actually, the pope writers his grocery lists in the sun with his laser eyes. The C'Tan have practically unlimited mini-godlike powers.

Harakoni, wtah! threeep threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

Pointless noises in a vain attempt to tip us over 100 aside, let me move onto something with a point (or as close to a point as it ever gets with me)

Being a redundand, i no longer have to worry about work (though eviction fears are right back in fashion) allowing time for me to continue work on my third, and loveliest, warhammer 40k based shooter. So far i have fully animated the various ork foes, and am now moving onto 'nids. i currently have 6 standard ork opponents, with a total of 14 death animations between them. OTT violence is now a must, and although the high detail i'm putting in is pushing the file to nearly a meg on swf. already, the wonders of blowing an orks arm off just to see him spin to the ground screaming and hosing the area in arcs of blood like some kind of maniacal green kill bill victim is worth it. God knows how much violence i can put into the 'nid levels.

What colour is 'nid blood anyway?

I think it can also be purple and don't forget some 'nids have acid blood

True but I've mainly heard that its Green/Gray, but it is technically fictional so any coulor is possible.

Response to Warhammer 40.000 Crew 2006-01-19 13:33:12

i always use deep purple for xenos blood. it give me a chance to use the kick ass purple ink on weapons and stuff. and it also makes my army look orderly, becuse they all have simular battle scars.
my inquisitor is done ^^ it was simple conversion but dificult to complete, looks ok i guess.

Response to Warhammer 40.000 Crew 2006-01-19 15:10:25

Yeah hi uhmm....i've been playing warhammer 40k for about 6-7 months and i have a question for you space marines fans:

I'm wondering about buying Marneus Calgar (ya know the ''uber master'' of ultramarines) but the thing is; my chapter is White Counsils. But can you have him in the army anyway, cos white counslis is a ''second founding'' chapter of the ultramarines, and they have the same primarch and everything. So what do you say?`
Sorry if i'm beeing a noob.

Response to Warhammer 40.000 Crew 2006-01-19 15:22:38

Now i have a question: I have a friend who collect SM White counsils, And he want include Marneus calgar into his ranks. But it is told that he can only join a ultramarine army, Now White counsils are a Sub-chapter to the Ultramarines so i wonder if it´s legal in the 40k rules for him to include Marneus in his army?

Response to Warhammer 40.000 Crew 2006-01-19 15:24:54

Thats okay and i have asked another thread the same thing.

is iron your friend?
No because even though their a second founding chapter they are a different chapter who have their own chapter master. The only solution I can think of is using an Ultramarine force as Allies to the WC army. Basicly you have to include 4 troops chaoices minimum in your army(2 ultramarine, 2 white consul) and you have to have 2 HQ minimum (Calgar for ultramarines, whoever you wish for the white consuls)
OR you can make up a special chapter master for the white consuls who is like Calgar

I dont think you noticed that that thread failed but som1 bumped it. You should posting in any of those old warhammer threads and just ask your questions here unless someone MAKES a NEW thread about warhammer.

yes August, actually all the other stuff exept one tactical squad(which the guy gave me for free because it arrived around early October) arrived within about a week or so. At least I got a extra discount for the Land Raider

If you do make sure to convert your commander and print the rules because being a original character your oppoment has the choice to not let you have him, so make sure to not make him too powerfull.

Fantastic news! I'm really getting excited now, with Drakojan Skies Acolytes coming out at some point late this year or early next year (probs with some voice acting by me in it :D) and now Warhammer Shooter 3?
Triplet that with 100'th page coming up soon and I have all the more reason to celebrate!
