I havent watched bruno yet but a few people were disappointed with it. They said that if i loved borat i might be disappointed with how dumbed down bruno is in comparison to borat.

Like borat was more believable than bruno is. I'll probably watch it anyway cause im part of the dumb american crowd :)

In other news, Hayao Miyakazi is supposed to be having a panel discussion at comic con this year. He's a pretty big deal in the animation circuit. So i figured it might be worth mentioning.

I can't wait to see Bruno :3 I am on the edge of my pants with it.

It has recently come to my mind, couldn't the staff ban proxy servers so that spam crews can't use them anymore?

There's so many of them it would be an uphill battle, if it was really feasable to ban proxy servers there wouldn't be proxy servers. Hell back in my high school years they couldn't even keep us off proxy servers.

Not to mention there are some valid reasons for proxy servers.

Education is probably the best method, just what to look out for. The other option is just reporting these kids to their ISPs or something, I'm sure Johnny's Dad won't be too happy when he can't log on to ESPN to check the game because their internet account was deactivated for TOS violation.

After the eminem tabag stunt, I just have to see this film. I mean, Ali G was good enough for me, but he just keeps going. :)

Why is everyone losing it over some stupid spam crew with an overinflated ego, i mean sure they phished Kayn and they spammed the portal but it's not all that bad? I mean the things they spam are awful (I don't see why we don't get them arrested) but I mean one spam crew probably won't take newgrounds down.

I don't see why we don't just close them down. It's not conventional but it doesn't seem hard.

It's because those people are over reacting dumbasses. When you come on Newgrounds, you're not supposed to expect nice, pretty, high quality art work in every flash. And spam crews have sort of become part of Newgrounds as well, so it's expected. But see the people who are new here say, "OMG thes guiz postered a falsh and it pased but my prety stick falsh didnt. WTF."

Those are the people complaining.

Thankfully, I don't think mods have that power. Deleting or locking things so old can only be done by an admin, right?

Several collab threads were actually deleted, I don't think the Reg Lounge is any different. Suprised it wasn't wasn't deleted during the 'glitch' *wink wink*. Out of respect for Flash artists?

I know it looks bad, but you really have to eat.
The flashes you used to have were small collabs, right? They're still there. All you need to do is re-add your portal buddies.

Google has cached your page and favourites list, so you can re-add things quickly.

It doesn't matter if collab threads get deleted, aslong as the author is handling it properly he should handle all the files externally.

Have any of the other sites you frequent being hacked? That'd suck so much. As for passwords, nearly all of mine are a combination of 2 unrelated words and a series of numbers.. I'm not even sure what my passwords are for each site, I just cycle through from what I think it is to what it might be next.. since they're all very similar it doesn't take long, but fuck that whole "different password for each site" thing.

One question, how the hell did they phish you? Was it through an e-mail sent to you or something? I can't imagine someone clicking a link to newgrounds in a pm and thinking "oh, I must have logged out" >.> but then again I ignore all my Newgrounds e-mails too :D
