15 a day isn't bad seeing as i wasn't here for most of the 21 days between this and the previous update. I definitely should improve on that before the next update though.

After Clock Day 2007, Tom changed the voting threshold, so that when you submit something with multiple authors, you have a higher threshold, based upon the number of artists co-authored. Now all we need to do is work on those who are submitting 'collabs' under one username only.

Ahhh. Thats a pretty good idea. I had noticed little things like users who usually work together on a series, their flash was only being submitted by one person. The example i'm thinking of wasn't the kind of spammy stuff the rule was implemented for but it explains a few things for me.

Although Clock Day '07 might have influenced that change, it was months after Clock Day happened. I'm pretty sure that it came from the massive amounts of spam streaming through the portal, and users PMing Tom and Wade to do something about it.

While Coops is busy sneaking up on Slash how is everyone around here? Me i have been caught up in Runescape all day and havent been able to do much of anything around here. I know right, it's more of a winter layout though. I would have liked to see some flashing Chrismas lights as part of the design but meh, the sculptures look pretty cool.

Man when did I last post here? I feel like I am more of a ghost member than a real member (make that into a penis joke if you want). I do have my reasons but I wont bore you with them.

I like this new blue lay out, it's a nice calming coulor and the other choices (red/green) wouldn't look as nice, and the tree is probably an inevitability in the NG header. It does feel a bit early for the change as Phantom says but crimbo will be here and gone before we know it. Im so chuffed that I am 19 and I will still be getting a stocking from "Santa" and I have an advent calender.

Also a new first for me was I got to vote in the monthly vote thing! I am one of the top 2000 active users and I didn't even know untill today. Strangly satisfying that bit of knowledge. Ah well, back to the portal.
