So I took my Permit Test today.

I was only allowed to miss 8 questions, and I missed 5.

So, I'm legally able to drive with a licensed adult over 25 years old.

I have my first BTW next Wednesday, the first Wednesday of school.

Learning to drive seems so long ago, although in reality it was only about 3 years. Such a fucking drag having to go through all the shit though, and by the sounds of it there's even more shit to go through in the USA than there is in Britain.

my god, i got my hair cut by an... erm... enthusiastic hairdresser.

Its too short now, i look like i'm in year 7.

As opposed to what we have n the UK, where all you have to do is apply for your provisional license, take some driving lessons, pass your theory test, and then pass your driving test.

I had a good amount of time in the portal yesterday, so I have no complaints about yesterday. However, while you wish it was on Saturday this year, I'm glad it was yesterday since I've been out for most of the day today. Plus, I might be playing on the Mega Drive later, which I searched for in my room today. I'm pretty sure the console still works.

That just seems faintly ridiculous to me. I guess because of all this modern stuff like identity theft, they HAVE to be 100% sure, but I'm sure it does get pretty exasperating. All this makes my learning to drive experience a walk in the park on a warm sunny day. I managed to pass first time, which was a miracle, especially considering that all the guys in my year at school basically had a race to see who could pass their test first. I won but had massive pressure on me to pass first time or else suffer the endless snide remarks of my peers. Put those fuckers in their place. ;P

Thats why when i went for my Learners license, i didn't tell nobody until i got it (computer test, easy as fuck, passed first time). When i go for my P's then ill make sure absolutely NOBODY knows about me going for it so if i do fail, nobody can come and put shit on me.

I was thinking of going down that route, but TBH I was pretty excited about it the few days before I took my test, so I told quite a few people. Where I went to school, if you told one person something even vaguely interesting, everyone would know in a matter of hours.

Probably a good deal if you're worried. Personally, when I took my test, I was really tense and I thought I'd probably failed about 5 minutes in, at which point I just relaxed and managed to drive pretty well. Kinda ironic I suppose, but I was really pleased when the guy told me I'd passed -- especially after bracing myself to be told I'd failed.

well, i'm off to V festival now, festival finishes at ~11.30pm, bus doesnt leave to get back home till 10am monday.

Man i'm going to be shattered by the time i get home.

I don't think passing 1st, 2nd or even 3rd time necessarily makes you a better or worse driver. In fact, passing 2nd or 3rd time probably means you're slightly better, as you've had more controlled driving experience.

Not really for me, consider my friends have had thier liscense for nearly two years now.....

They've always teased me about it but haven't paid much mind to it, now I really need to pass this.
