Damn, right after I post a question involving FL, I see this and wind up looking retarded. Ok, if anyone know of the YMCK 8 bit plugin "Magical 8 Bit Plug" can it be imported into FL Studios? If so, what channel?

Right click whatever you choose to automate and choose "Create Automation Clip"

Then you click the bottom of the PL and it will appear as a line and then you move it around to do what you want with it.

Well I know you can use the keypad =\

Honestly though, you're better off just placing the beats where you want with your mouse..

Well, I'm back
I would like to know how to get that trance/hardstyle sound, that mostly resembles some sort of trumpet.
And (of course) how to alter vox, like in Hanging On.
(I didn't get a thing of it.)

You don't. That horrid genre is made by the clicking of random knobs on a program which spews those songs out at random.

My slide doesn't work!

When I turn slide on, It just makes the note blank and it was as though the note didn't exist!

Please help!

Ok this is what you have to do. First you need a base note which is not sliding and then you put the slide over it or below it for it to switch to that note. Like this...

The blue is the sliding note, and the green is the base note.

It's a really irritating bug, it happens in fl6 but very, very occasionally.

My advice on this would be to wait until the next bug fix, hopefully they'll have it sorted, in the meantime if you head on over to the image-line forums and file your complaint there. or contact them regarding the issue, it might help them to realise the error and get their team onto the case as soon as possible.

if you want to continue making music in the meantime stick to fl6

All right... so I'm working with my percussion, using FX and everything. But, the problem is, I just relinked the same sliced beat to another track so it could fade out with a filter (from what I understand, it can be done with automation but I have the FruityLoops version of FL Studio which doesn't have it) and I manually did the fade-out... but somehow another track on FX somehow "delinked" itself in the progress. What happened?

The process I've made so far in making this song has led to some weird organization in FX and otherwise. It's listed below in case it has something to do with it.

- There are two copies of this sliced beat,
- Only one of these copies is linked to FX,
- This copy is linked to three different tracks,
- The first of said tracks has the Fruity Filter, (fade-in) the second the Fruity Flanger, (for effect, used in the main percussion pattern) the third another Fruity Filter. (Fade-out.)
- The two with Fruity Filters are used for different patterns. Each of these patterns is only used once throughout the song.

It's complicated, I'm sure, but an answer would be appreciated. :)

Ok, nevermind my previous post.
Currently I am trying to get my MIDI-keyboard to work, it's pretty old, but still useful, but I can't seem to figure out how to connect it to FL Studio.
So, care to explain?

options>midisettings

now highlight Microsoft Midi-Mapperand and set the port number to 0. now you should hear the sound.
