Anybody watching the pre-season games?

Currently watching some boring game with Oklahoma City against the Kings. Not holding my attention.

Clippers put on a good show yesterday, against the Lakers. Hopefully, Baron can bring them to the playoffs this season.

And Houston will be a force to reckon with. >:) : ( 20

I forgot the NBA season is starting soon, better start joining the Yahoo leagues.

Any Newgrounds ones yet?

Not any I'm joining. As for the season. I'm exciting for the Rockets. Yao is back to normal and with Ron, hopefully we can be a force.

I wish the Clippers good luck. Mad at Camby for bitching so much about being traded. He needs to get over with. Things should be easier for him with a PG like Baron Davis. : (

If all goes well, Denver will pay dearly for trading their only defense they have

Defense wins championships

There's already a Yahoo league set up but it's in dire need of people. Me, Dave, Buddhist, and some guy I don't know are in it. Anyone interested should PM your email to one of us to be invited.

And by 'any of us' I mean Dave since he's the one who started the league and as far as I know the only one who can invite people to it.

Hate it when I missed the draft again, at least the results weren't bad.

The Denver Nuggets expect to trade Allen Iverson to the Detroit Pistons for Chauncy Billups and Antonio Mcdyess reported by Stephen A. Smith.

Another piece of the Detroit 5 falls. I know Chauncy is hard enough to deal with, but I don't want AI in the Central East either. I imagine Chauncy being in Denver will make them a better team though as he isn't as competitive for points as AI is, so Melo might be happier.

I was shocked on Toronto's performance this season. Currently, they are undefeated and they have a great line-up now because Jermain O' Neal is now on their team. I'll expect that they will made it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals or even the East Finals.

They made a big deal out of the Spurs' poor start as well, it's really amazing.

Sigh

Yeah, see? it is true. They had a great record of 114-48 in the regular season and then, they swiped San Diego and won the World Series on that said year.

Mark Cuban is being charged with insider trading to avoid losing $750,000.

Should've kept your sticky fingers out of the pot Mr. Cuban.

Well, the Knicks look to be serious about making a run for Lebron in 2010. They saved some money today by trading their two top scorers.

Jamal Crawford was sent to Golden State for Al Harrington (In a trade that doesn't make much sense for GS), and Zach Randolph was sent to the Clippers (Lol, The Clippers) for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.

First it was PJ Carlesimo, and now its Eddie Jordan who's looking for a job.

The Washington Wizards dismissed coach Eddie Jordan on Monday, 11 games into his sixth season. Ed Tapscott, a Jordan assistant, will take over as interim coach. The Wizards are last in the East at 1-10.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story ?id=3722783

Because as we all know, its Eddie Jordan's fault that Washington's top player has weak knees, and can't play.
