If I suggest anything, it’d probably make things crowded. There could be a latest post link at the top of thread itself. It could sit with the page numbers, or by clicking it simply leads the user to the bottom of the thread with the page numbers, anyway.

Otherwise I weren’t sure if the locations on threads were being stored, so that clicking links bring you back to the previous location.

I’m finding writing posts a lot easier on mobile, which is a huge plus.

This is fabulous--- I'm on mobile right now, very smooth. I'm super excited about the 10 images, I ain't even gonna lie.

I guess so--many people always took seeing white text as "Hey, I can do things you can't" and took offense to that. You don't need a status indicator even for newer people, and if we are going to be empowered to do things that used to require admin help, it's a good time to bring you and everyone who works for you down to our playing field.

Looks good. A mood react button on the left of reply would be cool. Also I wish more react emotes would be available on the review level. I want to express myself better than the 8 emotes or whatever. Also first post. The characters remaining type size is like 4px I didn't notice it till now

I have a question about the photo signatures. I see the size didn't change with the forum update. Would it be possible to have any signature centre off the post width rather than a forum sig resize to fit the new layout?

Most of the sigs now have a bit of an awkward gap on the right side, and for transparent ones, it emphasizes an off-centre look.

Made a note of it in the task list.

The new style of the forums look so awesome. Its cleaner compared to the textured boxes pf the last one. I mostly use NG on mobile now and im very happy with the push for better mobile support. Thank u mr goldfish.

That is an awesome change. I've always wanted to use the forums on my phone while I'm out and about. But it's always been such a hassle.

I'm curious how people will take this change. I remember suggesting something like that way back and a lot of people were not happy about it, saying they didn't want facebook like functions to be on the forums.

Bulletins doesn't appear in quoted posts for some reason.

I selected a black space there, got something from the monsters group. Seems to have been a one-time thing, and simply selecting a different mood group olved it, but maybe it's worth looking into.

Also, this was a nice opportunity to test the new image system.

Hmm well there's another good reason to update the PM system sooner vs later... PM was actually next in line after forums before the Tumblr stuff happened. We ultimately want it to be more like a real-time chat between people but have been planning to do a quick reskin in the meantime to get it to the new layout... Wondering if we should just strip out some of the bells and whistles while we're at it, for the sake of simplicity and moving towards the future iteration.

Yeah same here. I like them on newsposts, but it's one of those features that's best in moderation IMO.

...though imagine if it automatically updated to actually show it last right away, and show whatever posts might've been made before it before it. :) Hopes for the future...

Those emotes are really handy to have around though! Gives you an instant overview of the tone of the message when used correctly, so you know what mood to prepare for when you start reading. That and some specific ones are almost like a persona for specific users...
