I personally consider Date Movie the worst film I have ever watched.

Some other bad ones:

Dragonball Evolution
Highlander: The Source
Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 1

At 3/18/14 05:20 PM, HeavenDuff wrote: 2/10
Ice Age: Continental Drift (Dir.: Stever Martino & Michael Thurmeier, 2012)

This one was terrible for an animation film, but not 2/10 terrible.

3/10
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (Dir.: Jonathan Mostow, 2003)
The Expendables (Dir.: Sylvester Stallone, 2010)

These two weren't that bad, were they?

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Dir.: David Yates, 2009) (It was seriously horrible)

I'd agree it's the weakest one in the series, but it was still decent enough. I don't think it deserves a spot on this list.

Yes, and the lesson is that "ratings" and "reviews" aren't synonyms.

Ah no, that's really not it, but props on always staying on original post theme.
Looking at the OP, you see a two possible reply out comes, a short positive response that would eventually end the thread quickly or an argument that would keep it alive, judging from the OP, it's mostly to provoke an argument. One lesson here is "Do like telling the world your opinions and do you like tiring to repeatedly explain and justify yourself" on a bigger scale you'd receive hate mail and death threats. So you should think about what you post online.

However, some people start topics like this for the sole purpose of increasing their post count. In that case I'd say it's fun to mess with people.

On a side note, for the love of god and all that is holy please don't rate portal submissions with only 0 and 5's.

I can't really blame someone in the "----- Movie" era for forgetting this but there are good, even great parody movies. Airplane, naked Gun, almost every Mel Brooks movie.

I should give a bad flick to stay on topic. Wedding Daze, Jason Biggs gets dumped and decided to propose to the next woman he meets. This happens to be Isla Fisher who was also recently dumped and she says yes. Hilarity ensues.

How do you not enjoy the adventures of Leslie Neelson and his sidekick O.J "fucking" SIMPSON. As funny as those movies are I can never watch without going oh yes that's a clever joke O.J SIMPSON.

Also the Hot Shots movies were good.

Another bad one, Once Bitten. Jim Carrey is hunted down by a vampire who needs a virgin and his High School buddies save him.

They've tried to cram as much stuff as possible from the book in the movie, but it ended up as a mess. I remember watching this with a girl who never read the book, and she was confused as to what the characters were doing, or why. A lot of stuff in that movie seems to happen only because "Dumbledore said so". The central aspects in the book were left out and replaced by less important events. This movie should have been focused much more on Tom Jedusor's life and the very important events that led him to become Voldemort. In the movie, the only part about his life that was shown is when he tries to learn about horcruxes (and that kid who played him was horrible).

The Malfoy part was also pretty much butchered in that movie. The whole point of his story in the sixth book was that he was trying to get the Death Eaters inside of Hogwarts to try and get to Dumbeldore. If the Death Eaters were needed inside the castle, it was to fight the good guys and break through to kill Dumbeldore. But in the movie, once the Death Eaters are in Hogwarts, they just gather around Malfoy and encourage him to kill Dumbledore. I mean... doesn't that just fucking defies the purpose of having them in the school if Malfoy could have just killed the director all by himself? Did he really need a team of cheerleaders to accomplish his goal?

And these are just a few reasons why this movie was bad. There are plenty more. I really enjoyed the series, but this one was just that bad.

Haggard is awful in one sense, in that its just plain garbage, but Tree of Life is fucking PRETENTIOUS. I hated every passing minute of that flick...I would have a better time shitting into my own hand than watching that empty, long-padded, whispery-dialogue'd preening.

Same goes with Haggard in their fish-eye-lensed "Oh shit, I forgot we're not filming another CKY movie" skateboarding with their inability to act in an empty plotted shitfest.

If we're including films featured on Rifftrax or MST3K, The Top 3 would go like this.
3. Santa And The Ice Cream Bunny
2. King Dinosaur
1. Monster A Go-Go

Disaster Movie would go between "King Dinosaur" and "Monster A Go-Go".

Here you go, a list of shit movies.

Black Swan.
Boring pile of shit. Stupid plot, wooden acting and annoying characters. Basically all the right ingredients for a bad film.
This movie is so bad I made 3 threads about it.

Avatar.
Snoresville.

End of Evangelion
Now this is actually something that I really like but for all the wrong reasons. The reason I like it is because its so awful. Watching this movies is like doing push ups on your wrists only its for your brain.

Zardoz.
Same as EOE, only tougher.

I believe until Gigli came out, that was the go-to example to throw out for an awful movie.

Pity, that's one of my favorite movies.

I kind of wish I could say "Disaster Movie" was worse than "Monster A Go-Go", but looking back, MAGG really is worse.

A guy nicknamed Rogansi on IMDB wrote a review for this movie and one of the lines just cracked me up so much, it made me want to watch it!

"This film is completely worth seeing. A friend of mine recently said it was as if a deer made a movie about human interaction, unable to comprehend what it is to be a human being. It is hilarious."

Avatar. I'm sure this is a popular answer, but it is hard to overstate how disgusting that movie was.

You can think of it as The Smurfs in 3D IN SPACE with an environment based on Pocahontas, a movie which was not even good on its own.

They decided to produce it because 3D ocular pornography IN SPACE means guaranteed ticket sales with minimal need for talented writers and directors whose work is far more critical than any flashy 3D graphics.

I hope I die before someone decides to create 3D Casablanca IN SPACE or 3D Citizen Kane IN SPACE.

If I'm still alive during the release of 3D 2001: A Space Odyssey IN SPACE^2 (a movie which takes place in space which takes place in bigger space, and is loosely based on The Princess and the Frog) then my heart will certainly give out the moment I see the trailer and I won't need to worry about vomit-inducing cinematographic travesties again.

this

one of the worst scripts for a hollywood blockbuster i have ever seen

i mean, i've never gone to a screenwriting class (yet) but i'm willing to guess that one of the ten commandments of good screenwriting is to never drown your audience in exposition without balancing out any emotional expression from the characters

here's a drinking game: take a shot every time one of the characters in that film says anything along the lines of "i feel..."
