I'd agree it's the weakest one in the series, but it was still decent enough. I don't think it deserves a spot on this list.
They've tried to cram as much stuff as possible from the book in the movie, but it ended up as a mess. I remember watching this with a girl who never read the book, and she was confused as to what the characters were doing, or why. A lot of stuff in that movie seems to happen only because "Dumbledore said so". The central aspects in the book were left out and replaced by less important events. This movie should have been focused much more on Tom Jedusor's life and the very important events that led him to become Voldemort. In the movie, the only part about his life that was shown is when he tries to learn about horcruxes (and that kid who played him was horrible).
The Malfoy part was also pretty much butchered in that movie. The whole point of his story in the sixth book was that he was trying to get the Death Eaters inside of Hogwarts to try and get to Dumbeldore. If the Death Eaters were needed inside the castle, it was to fight the good guys and break through to kill Dumbeldore. But in the movie, once the Death Eaters are in Hogwarts, they just gather around Malfoy and encourage him to kill Dumbledore. I mean... doesn't that just fucking defies the purpose of having them in the school if Malfoy could have just killed the director all by himself? Did he really need a team of cheerleaders to accomplish his goal?
And these are just a few reasons why this movie was bad. There are plenty more. I really enjoyed the series, but this one was just that bad.
