Okay, sounds fair. I'll give it until the 4th, but I don't know if we'll have 32 people by then. We have 25 now.
Sometimes, it would rain men. "Hallelujah!" we would cry. Thousands were killed.
Im In!! I did this last year under a different name it was so much fun.
I would enjoy myself a nice progressive house song, preferable trance-like.
I'm in
I'll give it a try.(not responsible if the song blows)
I'm into Heavy Metal. Bands like All Shall Perish and At The Gates and As Blood Runs Black that's all good stuff.
But, I also like Trap Beats from producers like Lex Luger or Jahlil Beats to name a few.
And I have been known too dip into orchestra arrangements too. Really anything dark and powerful.

Melody is the most important factor in a song for me. It must have a beautiful melody that captures your imagination. Even though I'm more used to classical or semi-classical, any genre would be fine as long as it has a good underlying melody. A slow, emotional track or a fast-paced track, anything is fine.
Oh, and no metal plz.
Come to think of it, anyone up to try making a good jazz song (with a good melody of course)? Would like to hear something different.
this sounds fun. sign me up please.
i prefer ska, rock or metal stuff but anything ambient would be great too. tunes with layers of interesting sound are great too.
If it's not too late, I would really enjoy being a part of this!
I WANNA JOIN PLEASE
Things I enjoy are ambiance, guitar feedback, and love

But so will rapefunk, so it balances out
I don't think I've heard of even half of the genres mentioned. o.O You people like very specific music.
Wish I could do this... not enough time to do it justice. Maybe next year! :)

No it should start today (the 4th). We're at 27 people now I think. It was either until we reach 32 OR the 4th. I'm ready to begin.

Not to mention we might need the extra time depending on the genre...

Best wishes to the both of ye.
I AM IN
I like dance/techno/vocal trance/house music. Sometimes dubstep but not too hardcore of dubstep. I like chill, emotion evoking music. Chill doesn't mean boring. Also, if you don't do chill. I also like party music beat booming goodness.
I make, or try to make, the same music i just described but i do deviate from the dance part occasionally and do some different things like I did with my songs Dark Horizons and Rebuilding.

@Stupor Is it okay to make the song you made for this project available for the general public after a couple of months into the next year? I'm assuming it's a yes, since it's even allowed to post it on soundcloud straight away, where everyone can see it. The links to previous years entries are also open for everyone to follow.

Yes. In fact, you can do whatever you want with the song starting Christmas day.

Okay, cool! As long as you don't spoil the surprise beforehand right?
Reason the more to make something good.
