So I've finally got round to picking out a team and I would like to join the NGFC table but it says I need some kind of code or I just don't know how to join it. Help please :(

Also with the first games coming up I've got Poland and Russia to win narrowly in the predictor I am doing at work (£50 on the line!). They are also the two teams I expect to go through, both to then get thrashed in the quarters...

Can't wait for it all to kick off though, I'll be trying to watch every game again this year (as I have every year since 1996).

Hm Sweden shouldn't have to much trouble in it's group (I'm Swedish), considering England has never won a match against us, and Ukraine is beatable, and we might beat the French.

Not because I care very much, but in my family we made little bet of a small amount money of which country which country that would win. For the hell of I said Ireland, and then my dad said if they win I get double the money.

Good to see some optimism, but I have Sweden marked down as coming bottom of the group... but then I am biased as well. Hopefully England can get something off the French, which will give them a good chance of sneaking through with a win over either of the others.

Half time in the opening fixture... and I am left wondering how much the Poles have paid the Spanish ref! Dreadful display from the ref so far, only matched by the incompetence of the Greeks. Poland have been well on top without the helping hand, and the goal was excellent (now having Lewandowski instead of Ronaldo in my starting lineup seems very sensible indeed!)

Missed the first half as I dropped in during half time, but it looks like a fairly exciting match so far. Two goals, two red cards, one missed penalty. I thought this would be quite boring, but I guess I was wrong.

Anyway, it looks like Poland is really screwing up in the second half.

I predicted 1-0, which looked on the cards at half time. Still, forgetting predictions it was a great game to start the tournament, especially considering it was between two of the weakest sides. Hopefully it carries on like this!

Russia look good. Definately going to be a test for one of Germany/Holland/Portugal, and beyond. Kadlec just got highlighted on ITV - he's probably cost the Czech's very, very dearly.

Yep, though I've been a little unlucky with World Cup years of late and been on holiday in the middle of the tournament (added to the awkward time difference for a lot of games, especially in Japan and Korea, which also fell during my GCSE exams), so my record isn't quite as good. I've still matched probably 75% of the games though. I really do love these tournaments, they take over my Summer every two years.

I must admit this is the first time I have ever thought about sticking with a level, and not just because everything matches. It's a shark with a frickin' laser beam on its head! Best. Level. Ever.

Well that got me 40 points for predicting the right winner at least.

This was a nice match to watch overall and Russia looked even better than I already thought they would. If they keep this up I think they'll be a serious threat to the group B winners.

Same here. Also, Russia was on fire today! They kept it quick, and were a joy to look at. The Poland - Greece game was good as well. I liked how Tyton was all like ''chill out, bitch, I got this'' and stopped the penalty.

This EC is off to a good start. Looking forward to the games tomorrow. I'm bummed I'll miss the Netherlands - Denmark game (since I'm Dutch) due to work, but the Portugal - Germany game should at least be entertaining as well.

Ahh that's unlucky I'd like the Netherlands to win it actually you've been really good in the last couple of Euros and the last World Cup. England however have been shit and we always will be.
