Ah well finally beat Skeletron so I feel accomplished. Went through the dungeon found a path down to the underworld now for the slow steady process of mining hellstone and obsidian.

Me and some of my friends are thinking about getting this game, but if I get it I want to share an account with my brother, so could that work? Like is it similar to Minecraft where you can have several save files on one account? And I hear you can take items with you across worlds provided you use the same character, so can you have several characters, too? Lastly, if none of that works, can we get the group pack thing and me and my brother get separate activation codes or whatever to have two accounts?

I believe it's distributed through steam so you could share the same steam account, but you both can't be on at the same time. As well you can create multiple characters as well as levels, and yes the items in your character's inventory carries over to different worlds.
If you got the 4 pack, your Steam account would receive a copy and then you can send the game as a "gift" to your brothers Steam account.
They said I could become anything so I became everything.

Well, somebody needs to host a server for us. I can't because my internet connection is a Nazi. WHoever does it should save regularly, to prevent griefing.

Look for caves, and more importantly look for chests and life crystals, smash the life crystals with your hammer and use it to increase your life

As far as actual defense, yeah, you're right. But if you use a lot of magic, you would be better off with Cobalt armor since each piece regenerates armor, and you get 25% reduced mana cost on everything. Or Shadow Scale armor if you want to do more Melee DPS do to the +15% melee speed.
