Clearly you none of you took the scope off the M11.

You can ignore cootie. The only battlefield game he has played/owned is BC. Which really isn't battlefield. But BC.

No need to be so mad just because someone bashed your game for a perfectly good reason. EA are really taking a poor route and just dont seem to care what anyone thinks.

Because no one in the history of gaming has ever required a separate program to play a game.

Ironically, the picture you included is of a character from a company that does just that.

Want to play TF2? Gotta have steam.

Is anyone else tired of teammates who are too stupid to heal, revive, give ammo, disarm, etc? I was just in a match and watched a teammate stare at the charge, shoot at it, and promptly get killed. Assaults never give health. Recons can NEVER spot enemies moving to an objective. It seems as though everyone is coming to the beta and playing like it's CoD. The only time teamwork happens is when i play with friends.

I really hope this beta scares away all of the CoD Kiddies.

Also, SKS is Godly.

Response to A Thread for Battlefield 3 2011-10-05 23:49:20

This is why I play on PC. Because more teamwork, actual organized leagues that you don't have to drive to, etc. etc.

Hahaha you're a funny guy merc
The only way to get decent levels of teamwork without just hoping to get lucky is to form a squad with your friends

Nope. Organized leagues for the win.

You can only add people you know is good and just play with them. It happened to me in BC2. I found so many guys that were good and we shared who was good with each other and we always had a good troop of us online.

I'm pretty certain you have no idea what I am talking about.

Response to A Thread for Battlefield 3 2011-10-06 11:37:50

Eh, getting a bit tired of getting killed by guys that are 20+ ranks above me with beefed-up weapons who probably just play this Beta all day while I'm working and taking night classes. This was a real pet peeve of mine in BC2, and I'm not exactly thrilled to see it make a glorified return. I was enjoying the Beta when everyone was relatively the same rank and was using the same weapons. Now, losing half a dozen consecutive matches due to the other team having highly ranked people with better weapons just makes me feel like I'm wasting my money and time with this game.

I kind of wish they'd put people of similar ranks in the same game, rather than let the guys with no lives just get a thrill preying off of the newbies and causal players until they've all canceled their preorder. If they organized matches based in terms of skill or rank, you could get a better idea of how good you really are when you're up against people in your same league of skill and experience. Otherwise, K/D ratios really don't mean anything, and the game is really only enjoyed by the hardcore, play-all-day-and-night types of people.

Still, knowing how BC2 was, this isn't something that gets better over time, it only gets worse...

Don't pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men.

I can't help but agree with you here, BC2's been out over 2 years right?
I'm still at level 20, due to people of higher ranks constantly killing me.
Although I've now reached the stage where I can do decently well and prey on the noobs too, I can't help but feel that it'd be so much better if noobs played with noobs and people with no lives layed with others with no lives.

This was all I desperately wanted them to change about the multiplayer, and I soon realised that I'm gonna be pissed off again.

Pm me for a pleasant conversation or for help with anything.

Thanks to JebbaL for the awesome sig.

Battlefield 3 has had various testing stages.

Modern Warfare 3 has had none.

Hardly anything to discuss there.

First multiplayer gameplay for BF3 wasn't leaked until about page 12. Just sayin'.

Very true, but how hyped is this game seriously in comparison to MW3? I'm not trying to defend it but it has.

Has been quite overhyped for what it is. Basically Bad Company 2 with jets, but Cod gets all the crap.

Love the beta. Here's my battlelog. My graphics card has stuffed up at the moment so I wont be playing for a while.

The beta is biased beyond belief. It's like Super Mario with guns. If you get hit once, you're dead.

That's realism. And a much more enjoyable game than hitting someone 30 times and them still not dying. This game isn't made for kids, and as of such, the developers aren't going to be anywhere near as coddling as other franchises coughmodernwarfarecough.

How is that bias?

It's unfair against pacifists and gun control activists

I see what you did there.

And I like it.

So public Caspian Border servers are up for PC, apparently there will be none for consoles.

It's a pretty fun map, but I think it's a little too big. The combat is really, really spread out, and I think the biggest conflict there was, was about six to eight or so people all together.

Also jets seem to fly rather slow when not using the "boost" function.

I would use Origin if was useful, but its not. Youre kind of getting at the wrong point here.
