So what are your opinions on Boris, Eyehategod, and The Lord Weird Slough Feg?

I doubt he knows any of those.

Currently listening to - Saint Vitus - Thirsty and Miserable.

WTF?

It's actually kind of cool.

But not as awesome as the original.

Thoughts?

Arch Enemy, Suffocation and Winds of Plague are playing here in November.

Suffocation should be headlining cos they're the main reason I might go.

This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

No idea. All they said was this Fall, so it's anywhere between September and December. But I am totally excited about this release.

I'll give out more details later like the album art and such.

I got Alestorm's new album yesterday. I'm enjoying it a lot so far, but I prefer Captain Morgan's Revenge over this.

Although I might give this album a miss for the time being, it's good to know what the name of their new album is. If I want to get more Slayer anytime soon, I'm pretty sure I should get their first two albums.

I can't really decide which is better, Black Sails At Midnight has the awesome Keelhauled, but I also equally love Wenches And Mead from Captain Morgans Revenge.

I haven't listened to every song on both albums yet anyway, got a loooot of music lately, need to catch up.

Slipknot - Eyeless

I love metal like crackheads love anal. and crack.

I've been getting into alot of King Diamond lately.

Is there any album out there besides Abigail that I need to get?

I need to start making a huge list of albums I need to get from certain bands, I'll be getting a new iPod soon with more memory, so I need to stock up of what I need to get.

If you don´t have them.. Get Mercyful fate´s Melissa and Don´t break the oath.
Much better than King´s solo career.

I never got anything of Om's past Conference of the Birds. I dunno why, but I just haven't and I think I know why.

Also, new Anaal Nathrakh leaked and it's pretty tasty. It's similar to "Hell is Empty" in that some songs have clean choruses etc, but it's more like Domine Es Non Dignus in that the riffs are clearly more black metal based this time around.

That needs to be quoted in someones signature for sure.

Meh, Saint Vitus were alright when I listened to them. What I expected but not good enough to blow me away.
Unlike My Dying Bride's 'Turn Loose the Swans' did. I was expecting something awful (cause popular music is generally bad, lets face it), but it was reet good.

I've got Pilgramage and Variations of a Theme but to be honest all I really listen to is At Giza. And occassionally I'll leave Flight of the Eagle on. Its still good but At Giza is just beyond fantastic.

Hi dude, great list, welcome to the club!

SepticFlesh - Death Metal at its finest. I got their 2008 album "Communion" and it's awesome! I've been meaning to get "Revolution DNA" but I am having second thoughts. Should I get it?

That's exactly my field. "Revolution DNA" is their worst album (still listenable, though) but definitely get "Esoptron" and "The Ophidian Wheel" - two mandatory releases.

If you like stuff like Septic Flesh, try out Rotting Christ's "Triarchy of the Lost Lovers" album and The Elysian Field's "We...the Enlightened" - you will love these two.

It might be the end or a new beginning for the band. It kinda depends if the new album is liked by many of the fans. Their previous album, it was alright but they could've done better. Since none of my stores sell these great CD's, I usually buy them off Amazon.

Also, thanks for the recommendations smeagol1 and SenseOffender. It seems Them is a great album, I'll listen to some parts of each song before I start buying.

There's something about Empiricism that doesn't sit well with me anymore. For the longest time I thought it was one of Borknagar's best but these days there's like 4 tracks on it that I could do without while the rest are brilliant.
