I tried to get on earlier today but alas, still issues with the authentication servers. It's amazing that this is still a problem. I remember complaining about this 6 months ago. Ahh well, can't be helped.
As I'm sure most of you already know, the piston will be added in the 1.7 update. I'm not sure how that really falls into the 'adventure' category though. Seems like it would fall more into the 'more menial redstone contraptions' category, but okay, I'll admit I could be wrong there. IMO, it's surprising that we still need a plugin to toggle pumpkin lanterns with redstone. I mean, I guess it doesn't logically make a lot of sense, but toggle-able lights just seemed really cool to me.
Jesus, I'm ranting about Minecraft again. ANYWAY, I'm looking forward to seeing what the next update holds. I've been really busy with family lately, which is why I haven't been around. I'll spare the details, but hopefully I'll get some gameplay time in here in the next few days.

Well why would you want to buy it then? Notch is releasing an update with a new mode called Adventure Mode that doesn't involve building at all. That will likely come after summer.

Oh, well you can definitely have fun just making a simple shelter and surviving. Exploring and mining is pretty fun, especially when you find a huge cave. I'd recommend getting it if you have the money.
So my prison camp is slowly turning into a sand castle of the sorts. It is not near completion, but here is what I have so far.
