Now that the nominations thread is closed and the votes have been tallied, it's time to move on and vote to see who will actually win the awards.
Just a few quick instructions and comments regarding this vote:
- Keep all discussion of the awards in the appropriate Discussion Thread, particularly if you have an issue with any of the forthcoming comments I have to make.
- Your first post is your last post.
- Keep the categories clear so I can see who you are voting for in what.
- Unlike the nominations, you technically CAN vote for yourself if you're a finalist, but I wouldn't. It smacks a little of desperation to be honest, it's an internet award after all.
- Vote in every category if possible. Granted for nominations it can be hard to think of someone, but with a list of nominees there's little excuse not to check them out and pick one.
- The voting thread will hopefully be locked sometime on Sunday evening, and the results will be posted up ASAP.
- All ties were and will continue to be broken by a random number generator, if you missed out, blame Lady Luck. You will still receive an honourable mention.
- I was one of several users tied for a top 5 spot in Most Underrated, however in the interest of fairness and preserving the integrity of the voting I eliminated myself before carrying out the tie-breaks.
- Upon reflection it was decided that sirtom93 should not be included in the voting, as he should not be recognised for his actions nor should he receive this kind of attention for them. As a result the winners of 6th place tie-breaks will take his place.
