celta vigo 2-3 Arsenal
Arsenal werent playing very well but still they got 3 away goals, this should make it very easy for them when vigo visit Highbury.
Bayern - Real 1-1, goals by Makaay and Roberto Carlos.
Bayern played well, they had Madrid locked down, Beckham and Guti couldn't send a single pass, Helguera, Roberto Carlos and Salgado were panicing, Zidane, Figo and Ronaldo didn't get through the German defenses, and Raul just ran across the pitch, never hitting the ball.
In the 83', Roberto Carlos shot a weak free kick and Kahn made a horrible mistake.
Conclusion: Bayern should have won.

true...but i guess they just wanted to stick with what they had.
and his are more powerful aswell.

True. Also, Roberto Carlos is left-footed, and Beckham's right... So it's kind of logical Carlos takes the kicks from the right, and Beckham the ones from the left.
I know Carlos takes some from the left aswell, but that's only if they're way to far from the goal for Becks to score.
I'm your average Afro-American fetus. For example: I enjoy basketball, I'm rather good when I play too, but I'm much too busy scratching my horrific cracked skin these days.
Porto beat Manchester United omg!
2 b honest tho Man Utd were beaten easily, and the ref should have worn a Porto shirt. Still they'll get pounded @ Old Trafford, if giggs and scholes r on form.

yea i dont think any of them players are really all that great, but its all down to personal preference. Come on guys keep your fave player coming.

How is that confusing? It shows my love for midfielders, that's all.
My favourite player is probably Thierry Henry. I like Freddie Ljunberg too. And Robert Pires. Oh look, all Arsenal players, lol.

Porto won Man Utd woohoo.
thanks man! we can beat those guys now. Fear the UEFA Cup Holders! =)
Has n e 1 seen own goals and gaffs 1 or 2, there fucking halerious, watching ppl muck up all the time, own goals and stuff, it's gr8.
lol no, but i wanna see that david seamans goal keeping blunders, theyll be enough for days of viewing :P
Ryan Giggs is my favourite player,
Raul is the current best player in the world,
Pele was the best player of all time,
Peter Schmeichel was the best goalkeeper of all time,
and the best team of all time was the '66 England team.
ne one agree.
At 3/2/04 09:54 AM, luke_the_ard wrote: not really, the England '66 team wasnt the best, thats why it made it a better victory.
i was just thinking...if you sent a team like...man city back into the past they would possibly win the '1st division' as it was back then.
yea your probably right, tactics and style of play have become very advanced since then, and its all thansk to people like pele, so i think he probably was the greatest player ever. I dunna about man city going back and winning though :p.
Manchester United have been named the worlds richest sports club (that includes everything from american football to cricket) for the 7th consecutive year, they finished with 30million more than their closests financial rivals juventus. check it out at skysports.com if u like.
