Yeah, I only find myself using the :3, and even when I use that I die a little inside.

I mainly use :3 :D :I >:c >:( and occasionally :o
I go with the simple ones. The other ones are just ridiculous. You don't need six characters to make a smiley face >:(
Any time I use an emotive face made out of text, it's always SJIS-style on 2ch-wannabe forums (and usually contains Unicode characters that can't be posted on NG, so I won't even try to post them here). I avoid traditional Western-style "emoticons" like I avoid social networking sites, which is of course the same way I avoid ranch dressing and AIDS.

I have all of those images too, and they're my most used ones on MSN, with the obvious exception of the Hitler/AwesomeYay hybrid. Apart from those ones, I rarely do use smilies.
I Use :C and D: and :3 more than anything else.
