Around these parts they are kinda spread out throughout spring. Math was in April, physics and chemistry was last week and then some weeks ahead there will be German/English/Norwegian tests.. they're not really finals in that sense are they.

I spoke with a few other marching band / concert band peeps to the 8th graders about joining MB and CB. When I started to speak on the little podium (or whatever you call it), I was starting to tear up because my first and only year of marching band one championships. Overwhelming experience. My band teacher new exactly how I was feeling and all the other high school peeps that were with me were just listening.. not saying anything along with the whole band.

Nah, they never allowed you to bring drink/food but they can't catch you if they can't spot you! We hid our drinks in our sacks and bag packs.

It was a miracle to sit at the far back of lecture hall. My former natural science and math professor isn't a keen eyed guy either. MIT tech department's lecture hall is huge and could be filled with up to 500 students so that spot is a safe haven. Just don't make loud noises...

I could see how someone with a bag of chips or something would get pretty annoying, especially if you have small classes like mine.

I had some small classes, but the professors really didn't seem to give a shit if you had food or a beverage. Some days I'd be running late and would stop at the dining hall, grab a burger, and continue on to class where I'd dress it with all the necessary condiments and enjoy it during the lecture.

I came here to gain some knowledge.

Common sense implies that ppl would eat a soft sandwich or something, which is common. UNI holds young adults, and of course they should have opourtunity to eat during class. and i think you probably meant "I could see drinking, but eating?" ? :)

My German teacher flips his shit if he even sees a soda can (unfortunate implications there perhaps); my physics teacher let me have a hot meal (calzone and coffee) during a lecture and even had a bite.

i once put boogers in my year 11 IT teacher's macaroni and cheese. everyone in the class saw me do it. everyone watched him eat it. no one said a thing.
