I sure hope not. The background near the header looks good, but the rest of the layout doesn't look as good. I like how the first thing you see when you come on here are the frontpage submissions, with a glimpse of P-Bot's post below. Now it looks like they've categorized everything, and I don't like that.
If that IS the frontpage, that is. It kind of resembles the Games or Toons page to me.

Oh yes. And it's hotness. Wait till you guys see how it'll work with the CCS, etc. The redesign looks awesome (while still retaining the classic NG feel) and performs well too.
The low-res render doesn't do it justice. It's much snazzier when the correct size.

I don't know. I thought there would be change in colours of the site. I wouldn't mind if the redesign still used the grey backgrounds but if that is what the redesign will look like, then my thought about what the redesign will look like is wrong since I was expecting the background colour to change.

I like the new look. I'd also like the "Write A Message" thing to be near the top of the page, so you don't have to know where it is to see it. The column thing looks pretty cool too and I think I actually might like that more than the current layout.
But if they get rid of tank_sm.gif It will suck for sure.
