EDIT: Thanks to everyone on NG for listening, but I'm now trying to make some money off of my music.
The remastered version of this song is at: http://www.sycrossmusic.c om .

------------------------

Wrote this song in two days. For once I abandoned loops and decided to craft each note individually. I hope it shows. It's also the first song I've submitted that doesn't have drums.

I'd really like some feedback on the ending, because I'm not sure that it fits the mood of the rest of the piece... to me it sounds too happy... and it really doesn't fit my own taste. If you guys agree with me, then I'll go back and change it, it shouldn't be that hard.

Please rate and review!

Thanks,
~Sycross

very nice

It started out a bit slow but I like the way you brought it home

Sycross responds:

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. If you are interested, I've just made an official website for my music: http://sycrossmusic.com/.

Please check it out if you have time!

its good

i dont know what u mean "too happy".i think its perfect

Sycross responds:

Cool, thanks for the input.

WOW!!!

Dude that was AMAZING!!! I loved it that you incorporated the flute in this piece. Very rarely do you see the flute being played. Thanx.

Sycross responds:

Lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Awesome

I truly enjoyed this piece, and I am suprised it hasn't gotten more reviews. It's weird returning to newgrounds and seeing how far you're music has progressed (I had reviewed your "When the Fighting Stops" a few months back).

Anyway, I see what you're saying with the ending, when the piece starts it does not leave one to expect it would end in the way it did. Still though, the ending is fine and you do not really have to change it. It seems to provide just the right closure for the song.
What I think could be worked on a little in this song is building it up to more of a climax leading up to the ending, the piece is brilliant but to me it never seems to really go somewhere. I think if you add a bit more tension in the middle and bring it back down to the ending that would have made it even better. Overall, the piece was soothing and I really liked it.

I'm going to go listen to some more of your songs, good work.

Sycross responds:

Thanks! I appreciate the review! I was very surprised to find the scores of most of my songs improve, and I assume that you are the cause.

If I ever decide to revise the song, I will be sure to take your suggestions into account.

Thanks,
Sycross

Not bad

Pretty soothing and in my opinion it could easily be placed under ambient. Other than that it meshed together pretty well, also the ending is pretty good and it fits the overall music pretty well.

Good job, and Good luck on any others.

Sycross responds:

Thanks for your opinion! I'm glad you liked the ending.
