Where to start with this one?
Well, it's not going to get finished anytime soon. That's a given. I guess I was trying too hard in going the wrong way with it the whole time; I got some idea on what it would be like early on, and stuck with it. As it happened, it ended up being a lot less energetic and melody-based than I had hoped, though I was still trying to pull it in that direction, which is probably what caused it to never really pick up, and in turn, what killed it. It had huge potential, so I guess it was me and not the song this time. :\
Maybe I'll try to pick it up again later on, but for now, here's the project file as it was when I made the last MP3 render a few weeks ago. I left a few loose strings untied, as you can hear, throughout the song though also at the end (though if parts of it sound like complete crap, that's the Newgrounds player, not me). I'm not going to bother with them, to be honest, as I'm sick of working on this song.
Having put it aside, though, hopefully I can focus on better things now. ;)

Oh yes!
I used to think trance was dead. That it had turned into a lifeless, messy, monotonous mix of uninspired beats and bubblegum synth lines. You've managed to revive my spirits with my long-lost love of t his electronic genre and make me think that there's a chance that the soul of trance can return again....one day....to mainstream music.........wait........what???....
