Cute concept, and I like the pixel art you went with for the visuals. But it could use a little more of a blood splash when you run into the saws or monsters, and navigating the saws starts to get a little annoying around level 5. 🐀👍
Let's start with the positives, firstly the music, I kinda like it. I like the little bit of extra maneuvering possible with the three tools available. most importantly, the game curve isn't so bad. Now here's where I put my complaints. So, when I first started the game, there was no sound or music, this was only resolved by returning to the main menu, maybe I could have refreshed the page but I dunno. Another issue is the player is often invisible after dying. Now, I'm sure it's just my computer being old, but the game resolution is too big for me, and the game is very slow after level 17. I think that's everything I have to say, I hope this was helpful.
The premise really good and the presentation is charming, but the gameplay is VERY slow and lethargic due to how slowly everything moves when playing on a browser. It's not like I have a bad comp either (ordered a built PC with pretty high specs), so this likely has to do with some optimization issues going on with the game itself, which makes the gameplay feel very laggy as a result. I tried playing the game on itch.io and ran into the same lagginess as well, which hampers my overall enjoyment of the game.
