Reviews for "Bloodborne NES"

Dogs are fucking OP when combined with any other enemy. Other than that, Sprites was great, Music...Succeeded in being what it wanted to be. Controls weren't the best. I also think all the platforming wasn't needed.

Love the graphics

So you have some really nice graphics on this one, I love the pixel and sprite work here the "MUSIC" was pretty good too as for improvments I think this doesnt need any it was ok with me, It is Evident that you know what you are doing, and you have shown that here today with this entry, You have presented some good Criteria, and Accuratley at that, You have also shown some good quality and Satisfaction thruogh-out, Now its not perfect or anything so maybe some adjustments later, but overall this was pretty good and I thought it was a decent entry.

For something you attached the Bloodborne name to, the attacks sure are slow and unreliable. It's fun after a level or two, but the rifle enemies, the dogs, and the molotov enemies need some reworking. That dark level is also a nightmare.

Seems to have certain problems detecting colision. The character will stop a bit away from a wall unless you do a small jump to get closer. Sometimes he'll get up a platform even though there was no reason for it to happen and sometimes he'll walk through ledges. For the rest, it's okay, makes me think of that RE4 demake that was published a bit ago but much less polished in all aspects.

While the controls aren't as smooth as the game it's inspired by, the main problem starts when the level is entirely dark and you have no way of seeing ahead of you. So I'm just supposed to fall down holes when I can't see where I'm going? Really? That cost you points. I can deal with awkward controls because there's a clear theme going on with them- melee is slow, gun is fast. Use gun on things you can't react to quick enough (dogs). Use gun on ranged enemies to kill them with your melee. Simple enough to discover and understand. But being unable to avoid pitfalls simply because I'm not allowed to see is just bad design.
