Good game, awful controls. I liked the K and L for the B and A like on the nes controller, like the originality. I like how hard it is and I like the color and music. Emulates the NES style very well. I encourage you to continue on

I must say that is good, but really hard and annoying like the ps4 version.
But i think it could be even better if you extended the game like 5 stage with a final boss and secret areas like a castlevania if you want to... but that's just my opinion.
Hitboxes feel a tiny bit off, but controls feel good and combat is really satisfying. The art style is really nice and is really reminiscent of Shovel Night.
Felt like blood borne up until the dark room, pitch black no hint of shadow, doesn't work as well in a 2d plan with no way to gauge anything, even pitch black in games like darksouls have light areas that give things away if your cautious. Also no way to upgrade and the controls being uncustomizable also had it fall short.
its great but like everyone sad the combat needs improving. the dogs are hard to hit and they kill you more than anyone else. shooting needs to be better, it doesn't take that long to kill enemies in the main game with a gun. there's no backstab so that was little bit odd since it's a very helpful thing. And last there was no healing, even in the main game you get healing from common enemies.
