MaestroRage responds:

thats a music box, meant to portray the fragility of the worlds, the delicate balance and all that good jazz.

I'm glad you liked the piece, thank you for the review ^^.

Damn it...

...so...bloody...good...
Better than my works anyway. I love the glockenspiel ostinato on top, it really adds to the piece. I'm just interested to know what software you use, particularly for the choir. 'Coz I NEED choirs (the one thing Garritan overlooked...)

A brilliant piece, MaestroRage. Tout à fait bon!

MaestroRage responds:

I would disagree Beacon. Your works hold a flavor and quality to them that my work lacks, which was one of the bigger reasons why I liked your works the way I did. These pieces are somewhat older, so the choirs I used are actually around. For example.

Is the bulk choir in the earlier pieces. You have to sign up to get it, but that site has a LOT of great soundfonts. It will be worth your while.

And I also used PlugSound CD 6 Ah Choir

and an awesome solo soundfont that you can get, which is better then a lot of the paid stuff is here

http://www.papelmedia.de/sf2/sf2/Papelmedia_Irina_Brochin.sf2

her low notes are a little flat, but with some good reverb, and if you stick to the high notes she hits, that soundfont is win!

Hope that helps Beacon! The software I use is Fruity Studio's 6, but I use East West instruments for most of what you hear on these pieces.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

cool

i dont usally like classical but this was awsome

seems weird to most people because i usally lisen to hevy metal/death metal but again great song im starting to like this kind of music

MaestroRage responds:

This kind of music is my favorite kind to not only listen to, but create as well, purely because there are so many layers that can be taken into so many different ways. Don't get me wrong, all genres of music have some room to formulate ideas and stories for, but I sincerely believe that orchestral holds the most power in this arena.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

A Home for the Hearts of Lost Dreams

In every mind is a creator, and to every creator, a dream. These dreams live upon worlds of their own, living and moving world in which these dreams live out their time, but these dreams are soon forgotten as new dreams are born. New characters come to life, and so, the forgotten die away, the world they know slowly changing each and every night until it is unrecognizable to them, a new world for the constant new dreams, and so, the old ones simply vanish, gone forever in the memories of the creators past.

My apologies for going into writer mode for a moment, but this song has a lot of inspiration to it, something that is very hard for me to acquire these days. Thank you for the inspiration you have given me today, and keep up the good work.

Imagination & Reality

As long as we exist, this song is a testimony to all dreamers and believers. The achievement of dreams into reality bores the true nature of this world in which we exist... "A Place For Dreams"
Well done, sir.
