Im not really into clasiscal but this got me hooked i made sure that all your songs made it on ipod great work by the way you sergent ranking of police officer for newgrounds.

Here is what i can see going with this song

start: an old man sits outside an abandoned house, he enters. 00:14: he wanders the halls, seemingly lost in thought. A vision then comes to him of a family consisting of a husband, a wife and a little boy in the living room playing a game. 00:25: again starting to wander, the old man heads upstairs and has another vision, the smell of meat cooking comes to him as he walks into the kitchen, he sees the wife cooking dinner for the family. 00:40: he walks into the smallest bedroom and sees the bed and toys in the room have gathered dust, he sees the small boy playing with the toys, this causes his eyes to glisten with tears as if a painful memory is coming back to haunt him. 00:55 he walks into the largest bedroom and sees the wife dying on the bed, this causes tears to run down his face, this memory pains him even more. 01:15: he walks back into the living room and sees the husband crying over the dead body of his son, the old man falls back into a chair as if overwhelmed . 01:28 the old man gets back up slowly and starts walking towards the back door of the house with a feeling of great despair as he hears voices calling to him, asking him what happened. 01:30 He opens the back door and enters the backyard, revealing two graves, one of the son and one the wife. he kneels over the graves and starts sobbing, whispering "i love you, I love you both." he then walks away, pulling a worn picture of the family, his family.

well written Fargh82. Great sad little story.

Thanks for that, and the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Very Nice

This is an amazing compostion and piece. I can picture myself in some kind of fictional world.

The song itself sounds very professional and has a nice instrument choie and and melodies. I really liked those begining bells, they really started the song off good, then more and more instruments came in and started to progress. Until it finally came into an amazing piece.

Great work.

A review back would be appreciated^_^

MaestroRage responds:

The toy box sounds are easily heard as bells, I suppose it's nobodies fault, if I weren't told they were what they were, then i'd think them bells as well.

In any case, your image is dead right on as well. And you know what, by creating that fictional world, you have just woven a reality and then scrapped it once you left it to let your mind wander elsewhere. So in this scenerio, this song is made for just that.

I'm glad you liked the track, i'll hit you back soon I promise ^^. Thank you again for the review.

hm.

My dear Maestro, your story fills me with sadness, that forgotton worlds must die in the realm of dreams, that is why I graced my art with Dreamshire, for those to great to be forgotton. Your song took me back to the older stories of my own, the ones I took away from the Cage of Dreams, as they werent worthy of it. It also takes me into the past of the mighty warriors who reside in Dreamshire. Thank you for the emotional piece that gave me back some long lost memories.

MaestroRage responds:

aaah, then you too have felt the emotion I lingered onto while creating this piece. I walked through again so many worlds that I had long forgotten, sat down with many lost characters, both young and old... many would think me mad, or simply stupid to hold such sentiments to things that never existed, but to me they did exist, and therefore to me they live (or die)!

I in fact, whenever I make a new song, do NOT give my characters names, or even faces. For it saddens me when the song ends, that I may remember this world only for another day or so, these characters, these stories, THEIR stories... all of it will eventually die away. Again, it may sound stupid, but it really did make me sad at the notion.

By remembering those dreams, even ones outside your Cage of Dreams, you have for at least one more minute given those worlds life, given them existence, and graced those characters with your presence.

Am I beginning to sound stupid yet? Many people have said so, but what can I do? This is how my mind works ;).

In either case I would like to see some of your art, if you could give me a link as to where I may find them, that would be truly wonderful.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you found the piece enjoyable, and useful.
