Interesting

Im really interested in knowing what VST's you use because I really love the sound your songs have, I am especially interested in the choir, as well as all of the others. Your music is so amazing I dont even know where to begin to start.

MaestroRage responds:

hmm, all of my VST's eh?

Well lets begin because the list is fairly large. I'll tell you what I use and what for.

East West Gold - 14 gigs large
- French Horns
- Strings (Cello, violin, viola, contrabass, just many variations here).
- Flute (not so much flute, but it does come in useful every once in a while)
- Trombone
- Percussional (Timpini mostly)

East West Silver (4.2 gigs)
- Choir (The choir in The Spread of Chaos and few good others here on this page use this choir!)
- Solo Violin

PlugSound VST CD's 1-6 (3.4 gigs)
---------------------------------------
PlugSound CD 1 (Keyboard) <- pretty much piano stuff, some good gems in here
PlugSound CD 2 (Frets) <- Guitar stuff, not great, has a few gems in there.
PlugSound CD 3-5 (I forget their speciality but I don't use them much anyways).
PlugSound CD 6 (Global) <- Think standard GM kit hyperized and made good. Three great choir samples in this one.

Edirol Orchestra (140 megs)
EVERY song on my old account (MaestroSorrow) was made with this one VST, it's small be damn useful, it's also now quite hard to find, made in 2002 I believe.

EthnoSphere (500 megs)
-Panflute (used in both The Spread of Chaos, and The Tanks Thunder extensively)
- Medieval Flute
- Celtic Harp
- Beach/Fire/Cricket sfx (awesome ones)
- Bongo/Congo Drums

SoundFonts
------------------
- Mini Dizi - Xiao flute and a few other oriental flutes, this was used in The Cloak of Wonderment, a great instrument, only 4 or so megs if i'm not mistaken.
- Irene SoundFont - to date my favourite solo opera singer soundfont (that is when I don't ask LadyArsenic for her assistance)
- Papelmedia Choir - I used to use this one LIKE CRAZY!
- Child's Choir - another great.
- Realtraks guitar - or something like that, DarkOtaku (I think he goes by LightOtaku now) gave it to me a long while ago, he may still have it, ask him about it, i'm sure he'll give it to you if he still has it.

Thats all the ones I can remember off the top of my head, there is a few more that I use on and off, and I spend a good deal of time experimenting with what is already there, but since I use these the most, I can remember them!

I hope that helps, thank you for the review!

This is just GREAT!!!

Like wow...you capture moods like your a magnet to them or something. Amazing.

I dunno if the word "Awesome" is any good for classical but im going to say it anyways.
