Sounds like...

A certain other piece you wrote, under a different name. Still, I like that song, and this one was improved in almost every way.

Good job!

MaestroRage responds:

It is in fact! Under SoulStrings (Now MaestroSegments), I am revamping those songs and uploading them here, as I enjoy some of them a good deal.

Expect a few more from there... I already have my teeth sharpening a few more ;).

Thank you for the review UtterNonsense, greatly appreciated! I'm glad you enjoyed the track!

brilliant

your music is very boring to review. dont' get me wrong its fun to listen to, theres just nothing to criticize.

MaestroRage responds:

Thats alright chutzpah, as long as you had a good time listening to it, thats all I can really ask from you.

I know this isn't exactly your field of interest and so you probably don't have much to say about them, I know when I review techno or heavy metal tracks, sometimes I am at a lack for words, because i'm not familiar with that genre. I appreciate the review regardless, thank you.

Nice.

Remember me? You reviewed one of my songs a looong time ago and asked me to review yours. Well I've finally gotten around to it! This is awsome! Very original. Downloading and rating 5 now. ;)

MaestroRage responds:

oh man I thought I had written a response to this! Sorry, my bad memory doth strike again...

in any case, i'm glad you dropped by, equally glad you liked the piece ^^. Thank you for the review.

nice and quiet :)

peaceful and relaxing. It was enjoyable, but maybe you could vary your sounds, like maybe changing that ripply twinkly sound once in a while. It was still great though.

MaestroRage responds:

if I could make that song again from scratch, I definitely would. At the time of this song's creation I was still learning how to expand longer melodies without using the same background. Still am to be honest...

one day at a time though, thank you for the honest opinion and the review! Glad you liked it!

Very Beautiful

Great song, yet again man, this one starts out with mysteries in the bell phrases that move strangely yet appealingly, nothing wrong with that there, the long tones by the violin, or after the stretched melodic line really made this song drag in theme. The brassy part's short loudness... get this... I actually wouldn't recommend. It doesn't fit well with the theme. The long brass phrases were beautiful though. Very nice flowing harmonies, but it does get boring without an equally strong melody. Very nice piece, props.

MaestroRage responds:

I find articulation is my weakest point. I have been studying some famous pieces lately and it has become painfully clear that not only am I not using the strings to their fullest in these segments, I am not even stepping in the right direction.

Mistakes made, are mistakes noticed.

Wouldn't recommend the brass eh? A valid opinion, and one I can see. I personally like the brass, but without it, there would be a different sense, which I believe is what you wanted? Perhaps.

Thank you for the honest review, I am glad you liked it TsizzinC!
