Epic Boss Fighter is just that, a game about fighting (underwhelmingly) epic bosses.
While the game offers a unique idea, unique game mechanic, and an upgrade system that will keep you playing just to become a slayer, it falls short on more than one occasion. The general lack of change in the bosses bullet hell pattern will leave you doing the same thing, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, die, upgrade, back and forth.
Though the idea is certainly in the right place, right down from the mechanics, to the movement, to the upgrade system, one thing stood tall above the others. The fact you have the option to skip low level bosses(and it's even checked by default!). If you're like me and wanted to destroy the lower bosses in 2 seconds anyways just to get the money for future upgrades, Epic Boss Fighter most certainly has you covered!
Overall its a neat game that does deserve a much more proper sequel, but until a sufficent fan game is made, or we get a direct seuqel from the creators themselves, this game will remain only as a time passer/a bar and table game.
