Excelent game. Hours of fun. It is just a pitty that, even if you have all the upgrades, a few of the last levels are very luck-based. A few less coins, mana potions or scrolls in the right places can mean the difference between victory and having to restart.
Restarting constantly also breaks the game, after a while. Nothing a page refresh won't solve, though. 4.5 stars.
I am not a big fan of the tower defence games, but this one kept me hooked for hours.
What can I say more than this?
The tree upgrades, the structures you can conquer, the spells, the possibility to go fast or slow, and the fact that you don't need a one hour tutorial to grasp the rules... everything is nice and well done. Great game.
wow. loved the pink floyd reference!
A full package. Enjoyable and funny! The upending of mainstream tower-defense stereotypes leads to some well thought-out units and fairly unique gameplay. But even with an overused game genre, the developers still manage to give it a new twist, adding terrain that only certain units can be deployed on, introducing a whole new level strategy. The doubling-back that enemy units do is also shakes up the stock TD formula, as often times one needs to incorporate that double-back before one's towers become sufficiently powerful to kill on the first go. Great fun!
