I thought the witch was going to be a boss or something. Oh well.
Unfortunately, the combat sucks.

even though i did glitch a bit with the hat part this game still was a great experience to play
Not bad. Keep up the good work! Work on the interactions more, jumping and moving sideways simultaneously, etc.
nice graphics and decent enough story for a flash game. combat was easy which is a plus.
deductions come from glitchy mechanics for interacting with objects. i couldnt remove the hat once i put it on, and i couldnt interact with the switch/lever in the wolf's cave, so i couldnt complete the game.

There is a way of removing the hat, by the way... There are only two actions characters can do, but we're not spoiling WHICH ONE you have to do to the rack.
I just disappeared . . . I was on the screen directly after meeting the witch for the first time and I jumped into the air and never came back down. I thought I was supposed to kill those things flying above me. Please, if you can, fix the bug. But only if you can as I know you put forth much effort, toil, and sweat, and it's not too big of a deal.
The story seems decent enough although perhaps adding range of motions and attacks would make the game better overall.
