Reviews for "Thelemite"

Decent, with noticable problems.

The graphics themselves, the music, and the general atmosphere are excellent. The details like buildings getting damaged are a wonderful touch. The controls are simple and effective. The dialogue is funny and doesn't sound noticeably amateur

Unfortunately, this is marred by a confusing upgrade screen (that among other things had me accidentally leaving the game every time I wanted to exit it), action too fast and frantic to keep up with, and skewed difficulty. For instance, there's no real strategy to react to anything other than to attack repeatedly... which won't save you if you're mobbed by mutants.

Nice but...

I have some minor issues to report. First, as soon as you get into a bunch of enemys you get kicked around and all you can do is smash x and c until all enemys or you are dead. Second, everytime you die you have to skip through the dialog over and over again. Those to problems come together pretty hard

Uh yeah...

Great game and all, but why is is lagging like SHIT???
Probably just my internet or something but SERIOUSLY!
I can't do anything without the game lagging like hell!

Still cool ^^

Sweet button masher :)

Keep tapping X, ocassionally hit C for a sweet special move be sure to hit escape to upgrade and hold space to run through the story. This needs sequels! Lots of 'em!

It's like Gunstar Heroes on crack...

It's entertaining, but mindless super violence will only get you so far. The game mechanics could have been more interesting considering all I really used was the arrow keys and the x button. The music was rather generic, and the story could have been developed more since I had no idea why I was fighting mutants in the city. Other than that the flashy violent fighting was cool and ate up ten minutes of free time so kudos.
