Reviews for "Riddles of Renaissance"

Simple, entertaining, and different

My review is similar to most others'; this game was fun and out of the ordinary, and now that I've beat it I even feel a little accomplished as opposed to many other games where I just feel as though I've wasted my time.

A few Pros:
1. Nice artwork selection, definitely good to expose people to some of the more famous works if they haven't already seen them
2. The music was nice and fitting for the subject matter as well
3. The riddles were simple but really require the viewer to observe the paintings and take in everything, which I personally feel gave me a greater appreciation for the works
4. Educational!

And some Cons:
-1: Pixellation! These are some of the most famous pieces of art in the world, and I feel as though there is something detracted from them when they have big blocky pixels strewn throughout. If you make a sequel, pleeeeease try and have as clear pictures as possible!
-2: Could use some more optional riddles, they were a nice touch
-3: There's not a sequel out!

I would love to see another game similar to this with perhaps a different era or style; Baroque would be nice, but maybe something more modern as well? I'd love to make something similar with your permission, or help create a sequel if you ever feel up to it. Nice work on everything though, and thanks for the awesome game.

very interesting and teaching game...

but it needs a zoom option. Sometimes the pictures are just too small to really notice things (like for instance the knife of the butcher),
Otherwise a great concept and a good game.
Also you should be able to toggle sound.
cheers

Great game

this was a very good game. Would be nice if the pictures were clearer or bigger but all I did then was look up the painting online and find a bigger version and search that.

Alright so I think there is a issue

The pointing question one, I click on the old man pointing and NOTHING HAPPENS! It's like what the **** I get this far for nothing but to have a glitch please fix or make it easier as I clicked EVERYTHING BECAUSE IT WAS you know a :I kind of things.

mrty responds:

There is no old man in the first riddle... I have no idea what you're talking about.

nice

You pick good works of art, but they are hard to see.
