Reviews for "Bubble Tanks Arenas"

bit too easy to manipulate

its too easy to make a small ship with ridiculous guns and just go round the edge of the bubble firing to the center.
If you put a single medium bubble in the 4th tier and put 5 mega cannons on it not only do the enemies fire to the side of you, missing completely, your weapon destroys almost everything in like two shots.

Although it sounds weird to say you need more limitations on the customization for the game to be properly challenging

A bit too bland and quite unbalanced.

Alright, let me be blunt here, this game was dissapointing. I loved the original bubble tanks game because of you choosing one path and continuing on it and the fact that where ever you go, there's a challenge but if you choose your path smartly you can dodge around those.

Bubble Tanks Arenas made me feel like a rat in a steel corridor being ordered to eat five pieces of cheese before moving on. Where as the original Bubble Tanks feels like a circle this is just a straight line.

Level three proved to be quite the pain in the ass to me since I picked symmetrical and moving my two turrets too far apart causing me to hit nothing at all. I know this is my mistake and I shouldn't blame you for it, but damn.
To get the two turrets at all I needed to pick a "huge" balloon base which made me wonder how large the remaining guns will be. I also hated that there was a giant and awesome gun just staring you in the face as it laughs at you for not having enough ''gun points''.

Those mine-layers were also a pain in the ass since in the last room (or just the last part of the damn corridor) there were three pieces of brie laying down moldy cheese and since they're so hard to kill they leave a lot of mines. This wouldn't be a problem if they just dissapeared when the brie's dead but noooo, you gotta eat all the pieces of cheese first. And there's three pieces of brie so there's moldy cheese everywhere. I know that you're supposed to dodge them but that's pretty hard when you're the size of the fucking moon on ice skates.

Very simple but bad custom tanks/enemy AI

I only say this simply because enemies always shoot at the very center of your tank, so if your entire tank was a couple guns made parallel on the top and bottom, and shrink the guns, no bullets could hit you because they only hit you on a vertical line, and youre on the left edge of the map. Seekers do go for a specific bubble on your tank, though, so they are able to hit you in this configuration. Obviously, the tank editor should have a bubble collision checker that makes sure all the bubbles on your tank are connected, thus preventing the problem of having an open centered tank.

Other than this serious game-ruining problem, it was a great game. I must agree with others though. RED COLOR SCHEME IS TERRIBLE! Where on earth do you see red bubbles? change it back to blue please.

Big ships

Big ships are discouraged maybe on purpose or not few reasons why is you get hit massive amounts of damage but you don't have enough gp to have enough guns to defend your ship the shield isn't very useful due to the fact all secondary fires at once meaning even if you have 2 shields they both activate at once and don't last very long the primary weapons don't even compare to secondary weapons just using 3 starburst cannons you can pretty much beat the game with a small ship. A possible solution to not discouraging big ships is the higher your class the higher your gp should go.

Quite...

It was really fun at the first because it was kind of the games I like, but then it started to get boring because u only kill bubble thingys and u don't really upgrade at the end. I don't get why people waste their time designing those things cuz they won't really use it.
