you really have something good here. i like the units and the system in general. but maybe you can think of a few things to finesse the game overall? (like the wizards and mana stuff- like maybe regenerate mana over the course of a battle)

It sucks that you start with a set amount of gold, but the way i beat just about every level was:
Fill my army with the mages to always replenish my mana.
When you obtain level 15, Meteor Shower(or whatever spell you use depending on your hero) is your BEST friend.
Only upgrade attack skills such as flame wall or meteor shower and your mana pool.
As the fighting goes, send out an army of mages, when you get enough gold, make them into healers one at a time. When you upgrade the healer, he regenerates hp for your entire army(including your hero), so try to make one quickly. When your enemy sends out a really strong monster upgrade your healer one last time for 105 gold and upgrade his attack rate until he attacks 20/second. Now you have a monster of life that is hard to beat even for the enemy hero.
With one start mage having maxed out attack rate, you can relax and upgrade other mages one by one. You can make more healers if you want to make sure you have no chance of losing or other mages for fun.
If you want to have more fun, sell one of your mana mages when you have enough gold to buy a melee or range unit at their last stage for 200-270 gold.
Make sure to start with a mage because i always lost whenever i upgraded another type of unit first.
So just make sure to have at least 1 mana mage, then have fun and go berserk as the ground becomes stained with blood.
Score system is so damn low, i played a bunch of times and have only 57k while on high scores people have millions!
This reminds me of Savage with the moving, attacking, and magic based systems.
Could be something totally amazing if a sequel was made. Job wèll donè! :)
