really cool idea
computer was pretty easy to beat and made a lot of errors. Not like i want to be playing deep blue or anything. It just seemed easy to beat. other than that it was fun to watch the animations! nicely done.
*bug-tried to move a pawn from g2-h3 to capture an enemy pawn and i wasn't allowed to, putting my king into check had nothing to do with it.

the biggest problem is the ai, i won several time in 4 moves and i didn't even tried to. a better ai and this game goes several lvls up.
Terrible.
The animation was new, but the game play was terrible. I mean, really, I threatened a queen with a pawn, and she didn't back off or reposition, just got stomped. The computer sucks.
It was good but it seemed way too easy
A difficulty setting would be great.
And by the way, the best way to take out a queen with your king is to move your king beside of your opponents pawn, then kill it once it changes into a queen.

I thought it was too easy to win, you should have made something where you can choice to make it harder!
Also taking the queen with your king is very hard, because the pc never want to trade queens!
I like chess so that gives extra points! But I am never eager to give away too much points, so I will give you 8!
