Reviews for "Ghost Guidance"

PEW PEW!!!!!

This game is inventive due to the fact you can take over enemy ships, its an awesome concept not many can take and use correctly, but this game does it just fine.
Lots of ships to take over means lots of fun!!!
First off we have the escape pods (They sorta look like nukes) , small, agile but very slow. Though they posses no weapon systems, you can rely on the enormous amount of armor they have to survive.
The next ship you encounter is equipped with a lazor, it is SLOW and very clumsy, not good for dodging anything, especially guided rockets, they have loads of armor though. All this is understandable as you can tell its just a delivery ship of some sort, in actual fact very small, but its mechanical arms are holding onto some kind of cargo, (love this detail here) due to the lightning bolt icon I'm willing to believe they're delivering more Harry Potter books, SHOOT THESE AT ALL COSTS LOL.
Allright!! Next up we have your average fighter ship, equipped with a rapid lazor and high maneuverability. Apart from the low armor, this vessel is simply awesome to use throughout the entire game, you come to rely on these a lot.
The next ship resembles a mechanical piranha of sorts, bright red and very small, with the agility of a missile. Has virtually no armor ( makes it a 1 hit KO) but its lazor fires at a devastating rate, and if used correctly this little baby can dodge even the most suffocating enemy fire barrage, including rockets (remember your five D's of dodgeball!!).
There's a ship which has a barrier (preventing you from taking it over) though it has a wide-reaching laser that covers the entire screen, slow and clumsy, these vessels are equipped with loads of armor, however, small suicide ships (like the piranha ship) spell destruction for piloting this monster.
In the cave you will encounter ships that can fire at 45 degree angles in TWO directions to boot, unfortunately they don't shoot straight ahead, which makes them useless for face-on confrontations.
I've saved my fave flyer for last; this thing is hilarious for two reasons:
1-It fires rockets, which are less accurate when compared to the lazors of most other ships, however, they impact with explosive force, destroying most things fast and effectively (the rockets home in on targets), these carriers fire rapidly, move quickly and have a LOT of armor.
2- O-kay, the fun thing about the rockets is that you can also take them over !!! I had a suspicion when I saw rockets at first, a bit afraid to try it, but when my carrier went down, I accidentally collided with one of the rockets I had fired and...voila! I was guiding a one-way bullet into my next victim! >=D

All of these give the game various difficulties, because as you can probably tell, it means you can make the game as difficult as you want it to be by choosing vessels.

Over all, very short, but this idea would make a sequel very succesful, especially if more ships are introduced, maybe ships with secondary weapons as well as a simple lazor, and bosses you can take over, which would be hilarious (and a bit gratuitous) though I believe would deliver an extremely fun second episode.

Nice job over all!

its short but

good game realy enyoyable

cool!!

nice effects!!

Good game

Good game

Great!!!

The idea is really original, i love it, rather than having a ship wich you upgrade and stuff, you can just infect one! But it was a bit short for my taste.
