Needs more works

It's a nice game, but a few points:

- At first glance it seems like you don't need to be a combat expert to play this game, and that you could go for a different style with being a craftsman or something. This would be really nice, as it is rare to have an RPG that focuses on something other than However then I realised that you need materials to build up your village, and the only way to aquire these is by adventuring, and to do that you need to build up combat skills, which leads up to my next point
- Everything goes too slowly - I spent a whole game ONLY doing fighting skills and adventuring, by the end of the game I only had enough str. and dex. to get two of the fighting skills, both of which were worthless (i.e. made me do less damage). Given that the only way I found to increase dex. was the ninja job (which you only get at age 18...) there is no way I could have reached 40 dex. Add to this the fact that even when you've built up the village gardens to 2x you need to rest two weeks for every week of adventuring or two/three weeks of working/studying, and this game spends much too much time going nowhere.

It has great potential

It really does, but first off, there is a lot of glitches, like I raised my combat attack, and when I come back to it after working, I see its 20 points lower! What the heck!?

I also would like to not just find lumber in the freaking dungeons, I mean, there is the woods is there not?

I do like the beginning part though, where you can pick your advantages, that parts pretty cool.

A fantastic idea, just needs improvement

I thought the game was really good, it's just that the combat system needs work. I've not played the prequel so I can't compare, but it just seemed to me that I was constantly missing enemies and subsequently getting destroyed by their much more powerful attacks. It could well be that I'd designed my character poorly, but it still got annoying when I could hardly go anywhere.

good

very lengthy, a bit too long, but its good

Fun.
